Kant Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 I just bought the SWGB saga. When I try to get into the game the intro curs itself short and goes to the main game menu. The menu comes up as a black screen with the options (single palyer, options, multi-player etc...) in white text and that's it. Clicking on any one of them causes the game to crash. I run a Althlon 1500+, 512mb RAM nvidia 5700 with 128mb video ram, directx 9.0c, and windows XP. I've updated my video drivers, my motherboard drivers, and windows. It still won't work. I've tried starting the game in 800x600, 16bit colors, and nothing running in the background, and it doesn't help. Any ideas! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest DarthMaulUK Posted January 12, 2005 Share Posted January 12, 2005 This does still sound like a Video/graphics problem. The game intro starts with a short movie. You might need to download Quick Time. Also, roll back your graphic card drivers to the old ones. Then, uninstall them totally. The new Nvidia drivers are a pain.
