Sorry if this has been asked... does that (unnamed) free site for ipods really work?

Hey guys, sorry if this is somehow against forum policy, which is why I won't be naming the site I'm talking about, but those of you who have done it should know. I've been thinking about doing the site that gives out a free ipod if you refer 5 friends because I can't afford one right now, so I was just wondering before I started if anyone has done this, and has actually got it to work. Any help would be great.

I think it's kinda hard, and takes willing friends, but well worth it if you really want one I guess.

Well, you not only have to have the friends, you have to complete some form of agreement with another company, usually some kind of subscription, and all of your FRIENDS must do the same. However if you are so inclined it does work.
