"Damn," Kate muttered. "I told you we shouldn't have run. Try to evade them, but head for the planet. I think that's our best bet now."

 

The ship turned, once more under its passenger's command. "Oh, good grief, just shut off the engines! They can catch us any day anyway."

 

"Shouldn't we try to reach the planet?" the pilot asked nervously. "If they come aboard, they'll search us and find your lightsaber, even in your boot!"

 

"Let me worry about that," Kate growled. "Stop the ship."

 

As she demanded, the ship was stopped again.

One of the crew in the attack ship looked around at his team mates and they at him, "Lucky shot eh?"

 

A direct hit on their hull broke the silence and they all spun around to their controls again, "Damn it head towards the battleship, if we can get close enough before we're blown out of the sky the battleship will take care of these pesky fighters."

 

They headed for the battleship doging side to side, the gap inbetween them and the fighters was filled with lasers as they assulted each other.

 

((The battleship is quite far away, close enough that it could catch you if you ran away from the planet, and blast at you if you try to hyperjump, but if you go towards the planet I think it's fair to say you'll make it into the atmosphere before it reaches you.))

Trent got stored on a huge prison ship. He had a cellmate, she was a tall, blonde, blue eyed, republic soldier.

 

"Hey you got caught by these thugs too?" Said the girl

"Yeah, ow my head aches." Said Trent

"Wait, are you Trent?" Said the girl

"Yes."

"Your wanted by the republic, you cost us a million credits on your last mission, I am one of the captains and I hereby take away your duties working for the republic!" Said Captain Roahne

 

 

~~~~~~In the bridge

 

"Commander Tosh, we have what seems to be a high ranking soldier named Trent and Captain Roahne." Said the officers on a comlink

 

(Is Tosh on the battleship in space?)

 

~~~~~~In the cell

 

"I found a way out, but only a jedi can do it, and since your a jedi you can go first." Said Roahne

"Whats the plan?" Said Trent

"The keycard to our cell is across the hall, maybe you can use your force powers to reach it."

"Ill try."

 

Trent spent his time trying to use the force and reach the keycard. Most of his attempts failed at even moving the card, finally he got the card close enough to slide it to there cell.

 

"Yes!" Said Roahne as she quickly grabbed the keycard and disabled the forcefield. She ran out and then activated it again.

 

"For what you did to the republic, you deserve to be in here." Said Roahne

 

2 Mandalorian guards snuck up and shot her in the back with a stun blaster.

 

"You have broken out of the cell and violated our commands, you shall die now!"

"But it was him, no don't!!!" She fell to the floor as the mandalorians stabbed her with a silver slicer.

((Tosh is on the Command ship, which is engaged in combat with the rest of the fleet, but the comm can just as well be delivered to him.))

 

Tosh heard the comm and smiled, he spoke to the officer on the other end of the comm, "Dock in the Command ship and I shall meet you in the hangar, I want to interrogate the prisoners personally."

Onboard the Prison ship the officer ended the comm and gave orders for the pilots to fly the ship to the Command ship.

 

Despite the battle going on the Prison ship stayed away from the major conflict though it couldn't keep out of attack range. They were quite heavily escorted and were not concerned about much of the battle.

 

"Sir!" A soldier called to the officer.

 

"What is it?"

 

"One of the prisoners tried to escape and has been killed."

 

The officer was disapointed, "Commander Tosh won't be pleased..."

Trent was put under more security. Finally he heard the ship dock and 2 officers came out.

 

"You are the high ranked officer am I correct?" Said the first one

"I no longer work for the republic, I am freelance." Said Trent

"Nonetheless come with us, you will meet with Commander Tosh and you will be interrogated."

"I will give him the information he needs." Said Trent

 

(Trent is slightly leading to the darkside/neutral)

 

~~~~~Wherever Tosh is on the ship

 

"Here he is sir just as you ordered." Said an officer pushing Trent forward.

The crew of the Prison ship backed out of the room once they had delivered the captive. Trent stood, bound, in a rather large open room, there were five other people in the room other than Trent. Four of them bore a unique insignia on their armor from the rest of the Mandalorians Trent had seen, the other one had completely different colored armor alltogether.

 

Tosh stood facing a viewport, looking out at the bright colored flashes of the battle, explosions and lasers. He loved battle, it was his Mandalorian blood. With his back to trent the Mandalorian Commander spoke, "Your name is Trent" He slowly turned around, "I believe in leeving room for generosity when asking for something." He took a step forward, "So let me ask you, and feel free to tell me as much or as little as you want, what do you know?"

"For one, the republic plans on sending reinforcements to the south of the planet, LARGE reinforcements. Two, they have minor cloaking devices on there ship. Three, theres a republic warship that will be coming." Said Trent

"Also, may I be of assistance, my equipment is on the planet but all I need is a blaster and a vibroblade." Said Trent

"One more thing, this is a datapad of the Republics reinforcements, maneuveurs, etc. It shows where every ship is at and where its coming from. It would be use to you." Said Trent again

"I also request a heavily Modified Mandalorian Battle Cruiser, 4 ION Cannons, 4 Quad laser turrets, 2 blaster turrets, missiles, phaser turrets, 20 bedrooms and Med Bay, Huge cargo bay, 2 docking bays, commanded by 30 mandalorians soldiers and myself, a design somewhat similiar to my old ship The Horier."

"That is all."

Tosh stroked his chin...if this wasn't just some trick it'd be a first. There's no way the Republic could have ammassed a fleet that large. Still...the datapad...

 

Tosh took the datapad, I shall examine it, if you're correct then we have a serious problem. If you're lying to try and get yourself out of this...I'll kill you myself. As for the ship you requested...not a chance. You stay bound, simply because I don't trust you." Tosh nodded to one of his royal guards who moved for the door and called in one of the officers who had been waiting outside. Tosh handed the officer the newly aquired data card, "Examine it thoroughly, and investigate any information it may give us. Inform me if it is false."

 

The officer nodded and left.

 

"Forgive me if I am doubtful, but you didn't expect me to be niave did you?" Tosh kept his gaze on the prisoner, "Why would you hand over such a thing? Why would you betray your Republic? I thought the Jedi were honorable, I did not expect you to hand over the Republic's entire plans...or lie about it. So why did you...whichever you did?

The battleship finally was within range of the civilian ship to draw it in with the tractor beam. The officer gave the order and the civilian ship was jerked forwards and slowly pulled into the battleship's hangar.

 

The officer commed the fleet's command ship, "Sir, we have captured the civilian cargo ship and shall procede with the interrogation of it's passengers."

"I no longer am part of the Republic, they kicked me out, I cost them millions of credits." Said Trent

"But I am a a really valuable asset, gimme any type of ship and I shall manage to defeat the Republic, oh that reminds me." Said Trent

"I have a proposition for you, I have the plans of a Prototype for a high class Republic Destruction Warship, gimme a mandalorian fighter and I will give them to you." Said Trent

"Also, when the Captain died I picked this off her, its another datapad showing the Republic ship maneuveurs and weak spots in there ships."

"If you don't believe im freelance then just send me to prison." Said Trent

 

 

~~~~~In the battle

 

"WOOHOO we exploded one of there fighters, hey what the?!?" A Republic Cruiser exploded and the parts went scattering in space.

 

"Where is Captain Doahne?" Said Admiral Ona

Kate felt the lurch of the tractor beam and nodded slowly.

 

"They'll interrogate us," she said. "They want to know why we're here. Our orders were to take this equipment to this planet. Our employer was going to meet us when we landed."

 

"That's true," the captain said. He was still shaking. "We're not going to lie?"

 

"The Mandalorians are warriors," Kate answered. "If they find that you've lied, it won't go very well for you. The only thing we're lying about is that I'm the captain of this ship. You're the passenger."

 

"Let him be the pilot," the pilot said. "I think I'm better suited to be the passenger. Besides, if asked, he can fly the ship too."

 

"You do seem much more calm than he is," Kate said, nodding slowly. "And his jitters would make a good excuse for your attempt to flee. Good. You're the passenger. Captain, you're the pilot."

 

The waiting began...

Tosh thought some more about what Trent was saying, he didn't trust the Jedi enough to give him a ship, "You really think I'd give you a ship in exchange for the datapad when I could just take it from you any moment I wanted?" He thought some more but finally seemed to come to a conclusion, "Very well, I will give you a ship, with the weaknesses of the Republic fleet in our databanks it will make defeating them fairly easy, even with their reenforcements. It's not like you can take off with the ship anyway, what with it being crewed by my men and you being alone and unable to crew a ship yourself. You will have command of the ship though but you will also follow any orders I direct to you." With the motion of his hand one of his guards opened the door.

 

Tosh headed to the door and his royal guards followed him, Tosh motioned for Trent to follow. The officers came to attention when Tosh emerged, "Give Trent a battleship, and relay the data from both datapads to the fleet. These are the weaknesses in the Republic's ships and the wareabouts of their reenforcements." The officers acknowledged and set about their newly apointed tasks.

 

((TheOutrider, go ahead and control some Mandalorians to give you a ship.))

The civilian cargo ship had been successfully docked, a transmission from the battleship was sent to the cargo ship, "All passengers and crew aboard," The message hailed, "Disembark your ship now." A platoon of Mandalorian soldiers stood by in the docking bay in case of any coflict but remained inactive. A Squad of Mandalorians waited near the gangplank of the cargo ship to make sure the passengers came out. Another Squad stood nearby waiting to board and search the ship with scanners. Several officers stood nearby to interroage the passengers.

The 'pilot' was jittery, the 'passenger' was clearly frightened beyond belief. The 'captain' was the coolest one in the bunch. Kate put on a smile and tried to console her 'pilot' and 'passenger'. When the passenger proved to be too frightened, Kate soothed his brain with the Force and he dropped to the deck unconscious.

 

Kate's face drained of color as she knelt by his side. "Oh, dear," she said. "I'm afraid this has been too much excitement for him."

 

She stood again and said, "I hope you'll forgive my passenger. He's never been on a ship contacted by any form of warship, large or small."

 

"I'm Captain Kate Flynn," she went on. "I would be happy to answer any questions you might have."

An officer aproached Kate, "We just need you to fill out some paperwork explaining why you're here and what you're doing. If you're nothing more than a civilian cargo ship you'll be on your way shortly." A few soldiers stepped towards Kate and the crew, "First we will search you for any weapons."

 

((BTW what might they find on the cargo ship? Anything unusual? And if they find a lightsaber on you they won't be pleased...))

"Lets go, first we'll finish off those Republic Cruisers, then we'll finish off Green Squadron, lastly we'll go for that Main Republic Capital ship." Said Trent

 

The battleship lifted off and flew into space. They met some fighters along the way, Trent ordered to engage and the fighters didn't last long.

 

"There seems to be almost no ships left, what the!?!" Trent noticed that hundreds of republic fighters docked on the planet.

"Well thats our new last stop." Trent ordered to quickly find the freighters.

 

They were quite close, Trent ordered to blast in the left, topside of the ship. The ship immediately blew to pieces. BOOM, Trent fell to the floor, 3 Cruisers were behind them and had blasted the ship.

 

"We need reinforcements, 3 cruisers and..." Trent was cut short as an odd ship flew by and blasted those cruisers out of the sky.

"Who on Earth was that, his ship was huge, fast, slightly cloaked!" Said one of the crew

"I don't know, uh oh, main capital ship ahead, followed by red and green squadron, first lower there shields, then blow open the docking bay and me and a few mandalorians can go in and take charge."

((Kate has thought of that... they won't find it unless they really know where to look.))

 

 

Kate nodded, smiling pleasantly as she handed over a small blaster pistol. "My only weapon," she said.

 

Then, she handed over the orders the ship was operating under. The orders said that Captain Flynn was to provide food supplies to a small city on the planet.

 

"The passenger simply wanted to see a piece of the galaxy," Kate said. "We agreed to take him on because he was willing to pay a large sum of money and didn't want to wait for a, shall we say, more suitable transport."

((TheOutrider, yeah let's just say they gave him back his saber.

wildjedi, they are scanning the ship, they would detect it unless it's like magnetically sealed or something, as for her lightsaber, they have scanners that detect power cells, so hiding that in your bra won't do you any good.))

 

Tosh went to the command deck and took a look at the overview of the battlefield. The tragectories of the Republic re-enforcements had been uploaded and Tosh could see their wereabouts despite their cloaking fields.

 

"We're almost done mopping up the remaining republic ships in this area sir with minimal losses to our main forces." One officer reported.

 

Tosh acknowledged and thought about what he would do. He examined the data from Trent to see what the Republic was planning next.

 

((TheOutrider, maybe you could tell me what they're planning to do? And we'll prepare an ambush or something.))

"Tosh, were planning to take over the Large Main Republic Captial Ship, we will go in and try and distract them while you blow the ship up, of course we'll be out by then." Said Trent

 

They lowered the shields and then blew open the docking bay. The docking bay then had a force field that blocked space from it, of course a ship could get through but space couldn't.

 

"Dock now and take over the barracks, then get in the ship." Said Trent.

 

Trent stayed at the ship, he knew that nobody could take on a crew that big, he told this to his crew but they didn't listen.

Tosh aimed much of the fleet's firepower on the Republic Capital ship.

 

"Trent," Tosh commed, "Whatever you're doing do it quick, we still have the Republic reenforcements to worry about."

"Guys, fall back." Said Trent

"I repeat, FALL BACK!." No response of the mandalorians.

"Tosh, we have a problem, I need you to meet me here..." The static froze the screen and transmission.

 

Trent looked around. He felt a cold brush against his hair.

 

"Thissss sssship isssss under my control." Said a dark voice

 

Trent turned around and saw a Sith Master standing there. He was tall, dark, and scary. He had markings under his eyebrow and his chest was as dark as night. Trent wasn't nearly strong enough to take him on. He made one more attempt to make the transmission.

 

"Tosh...Sith...Mas...Help...Death..." That was all that could be heard in the transmission.

Tosh advanced his ship and sent a full battalion of infantry into the Trent's battleship. He monitored via commlink from the battalion officer as the troops headed in.

 

Their goal was to check the status of the ship and crew, assess any damage or casualties, and find out what was going on and if there were any enemies onboard the battleship.

Batallion Commander Roger Mathews

Equipment contains a pack of grenades and Heavy Repeating Blaster.

 

They looked through the ship. They saw a few bodies on the floor but those were Republic Soldiers. Maybe the battleship was overrun with Republic Officers.

 

"These guys aren't dead by blaster shots, and no mandalorians seem to be around." Said Roger

 

They walked around some more. They noticed someone lying on the floor. It was the body of a Sith, a Sith Apprentice.

 

"Hey wheres the rest of the team?" Said Roger

"Oh no, guys this isn't good, this is a ghost ship." Said One mandalorian

"Whos that?" Said another

 

There was a dark shape up ahead. It was very faint. It disappeared quickly.

 

"Guys, send a transmission to Tosh." Said Roger

"Sir, we have a problem I need you to come here quick."

"Hah you mandalorians are all dead, but not here, look out of the battleship and in the Capital Ship." Said a dark voice.

Ship: Leads renegade ships aboard his battleship 'The Slug', named so because of comparisions to slug-shooters, fast, accurate, and with grisly results, but undependable.. Sometimes flies out to battle or flees aboard his personal starship 'The Cog'.

Equipment: Twin blaster pistols, a shotgun slugshooter, Heavy repeating blaster, thermal detonators, personal comlink.

Appearence: Young, jet-black hair, dark-green eyes, white skin, tall.

Bio(optional): Was found wandering the streets of Corusant at 13 by jedi, and found to be force-sensitive. The council debated about accepting him, but ultimately refused, due to age. They sent him to the Agricultural Corps, but he escaped, and became a freelance mercenary. Soon he found himself aboard a capital ship, fully crewed, with his employer dead, and the crew willing to work for him. He went on and started a navy-for-hire.

 

Many mercenaries joined him with their ships and the navy's size grew. They worked for the highest bidder, and were notorious for changing sides in the middle of a battle due to a higher offer. Some jedi saw him as the council's biggest mistake, that the council should have accepted him. Others viewed him as proof of the council's wisdom, who knows what he would've been like as a jedi.

A fleet of ships suddenly appeared in the battle. The ships immediately opened fire on the Madalorian ships. A message was sent discreetly to both sides. Detailing that currently he was working for the Republic for 300,000 credits.

((And I'm going to assume they'd check all clothing elements anyway, so she's long since taken her lightsaber out of her boot. Let's just say it's in pieces at the moment and the pieces are scattered throughout the ship. They might find the pieces, but they'll not know what they're for.))

 

 

For the first time since being taken in by the Mandalorian ship, Kate's smile faded.

 

"Is something wrong?" she asked the nearest Mandalorian.

Bern frowned. He felt at least two jedi there. There was another, but he couldn't feel if he was Jedi, Sith or just someone who hadn't been discovered. He concentrated on pinpointing their location. It was always useful to know where they were in a battle.

((That should be Trent, and I'm assuming the sith is cloaking himself with the force. ))

"Sir ive found Trent, he is alive but unconcious." Said a mandalorian

"Good lets check the Capital Ship so we can find our mandalorian allies." Said Roger

 

They dropped Trent on the ground. They exited the battleship and entered the Capital Ship. There were no signs of life. There was a faint sound in the distance, it sounded like talking. The team took out there weapons and slowly walked around the corner. They heard ancient language that they never heard before.

 

"Lkk hgg sorah kee."

 

They looked around the corner and there were at least five Sith. Most looked old and wrinkled while others looked powerful.

 

"Send another Transmission to Tosh, tell him to destroy the capital ship and now." Said Roger

 

"Sir, this is Roger, destroy the capital ship, there are Sith onboard and thssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss....." The Transmission went out and everything went dark.
