So I thought, why not start a thread in which people can 'make up' Anakin's Father? I'll start - I think Anakin's Father is Count Dooku. Now before you start laughing, give it a thought: In the old trilogy, Vader and Luke fight each other. In the new trilogy, Count Dooku and Anakin fight each other. Anakin has to fight his son on Palpatine's orders just as Dooku has to fight Anakin on Palpatine's orders. So there is a very good chance that Count Dooku is Anakin's father. What about you? No father, sound familar? very familiar, of course Jesus automatically comes to mind. but there are many others, ancient mythology is littered with stories of virgin births and immaculate conceptions. Roman, Egyptian, Greek, they all have tales about heroes and warriors that were born without fathers (human anyway) we all know GL loves his mythology, which particular one inspired him we don't know. maybe it was Perseus, the slayer of Medusa. his mother, Danae, was impregnated by a shower of gold.
