As of August 24th I've been in the Electronics Engineering program at Central Missouri State University (CMSU) in Warrensburg, MO. Anyone here ever been there? Who else is entering college this year? I was originally looking for a CE program but landed on the Electronics one because it was geared moreso towards the specific areas I'd like to focus on like microcontroller work and hardware in general. Astrotoy7 Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 That's awesome Rhettski !!! Nothing is more valuable than a college education when it comes to promoting yourself in the job market. Even if you end up not practising in that given field, having a degree under your belt is absolutely always an advantage. It also means you get a much higher starting salary(the best bit) I highly recommend post graduate studies once youre out and settled. Bob Lion54 Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Good Luck! One piece of advice, though. It is extreemly important to actually go to class!!! I learned this the hard way, sadly. On a positive note, you will meet some very interesting people. I had a cowboy for a english probfessor. He always wore his hat to class. Its rather odd when you relize the guy wearing leather motorcycle gear and a cowboy hat is your english teacher! Sophmore year, my english teacher was a hugh beatles fan.
