((Jokemaster, I need you to do a special mission, make it whatever you want. You get one squad of 11 Mandalorians, you're the squad leader, you get one corporal, 6 privates, and 4 recruits, Silis will be one of your recruits. The mission will be offworld on a nearby star system. During the mission I'll have a little surprise for you, the rest is free for you to do.

Wildjedi, how are you going to connect your character with the Mandalorians?))

Lin stood up from the bed and walked down the loading platform of the ship onto a huge Hangar, it had almost fifty ship to it.

- “Come on this way” – Alex said.

Lin followed him closely from behind looking around her shoulder constantly as to avoid any unpleasant confrontations like the one she had on Riflor. After a series of tech halls and passage ways they arrived to an office, it looked like an old advanced control center. There were a several computers in the room controlling environmental hardware, they crossed a bridge through the crater of a volcano, it was hot as hell and Lin’s armor wasn’t helping much until she set the cooling system plating of her armor on, finally they walked inside the Forward Command Center, a man in Mandalorian armor stood there, he wore a silver cape, he had a scar over his right eye and a little one just below his left cheek, he had a very commanding presence about him, his face was rough and by his looks he was no young man.

- “Neuwest, what is this that you’ve brought to me?” – the man asked.

- “This, General Graven is Lin Jarrel, a Mandalorian” – Alex said.

- “I can see the armor, only a true Mandalorian could have made such fine armor” – General Graven said.

- “Thank you sir, my father made it” – Lin said.

- “You will speak when I tell you Jarrel, or when I address you in the meantime you will shut your trap, but your father... now I remember...Captain Jarrel got in to a mission with me on Dxun many years ago to salvage what was left of our culture, good man he was” – General Graven said.

Alex walked closer to the general’s desk and stopped.

- “General she’s looking to join the mandalorians on our planet” – Alex said.

- “Is she? Well she’ll have to prove her worth, I need help with some issues we have here, we’ve found several remnant outposts in the outskirts of the city, the locals have aked for our help, if she can help us and prove herself in my eyes she’ll be taken to Mandalore” – General Graven said.

- “Alright Lin you heard the General” – Alex said.

- “Yes sir, I’ll prove myself, where should I go?” – Lin asked.

- “Captain Xorgo is waiting outside he’ll escort you to the barracks, you will await my call there” – General Graven said.

- “Yes sir” – Lin responded and left.

Dag finished the exercise well, losing none of his simulated men. He walked out.

"Good job." Said the sargeant.

"Thanks. Always good to practice"

"Soon you'll find these boring."

"I already do." Dag walked out grinning. It was time to rest. He wanted to be prepared for the mission

=========

The next day: 0500 Hours.

Dag woke up. He silenced the alarm, and got dressed. He ran a lap around the entire compound, and then headed to the briefing. He arrived two minutes early, but they let him in.

"Good morning." The general who was going to brief him said. "We have a situation. As you know, we are currently undergoing a debate on wether or not to join the Republic. But they seem to be attempting to force our hand. We have discovered that they have moved several regiments and troops to a nearby planet. It's uninhabited and we believe they want to pressure us into joining. We want you to lead a team in, investigate, and if necessary, engage. "

"What do you mean if necessary?"

"You decide on your own. You proved your judgement during the Yuhzan Vong war. "

"How many men on my team?"

"11 others. We've taken the liberty of choosing most of them, but if there's someone you'd like to request?"

"Silis Tarscier. His father was a great warrior, and he's eager to prove himself. He has a lot of skill, and I'd like him to have a chance to prove himself."

The general considered it. "All right. You leave tonight. I suggest you go prepare Tarscier."

"Yes sir."

"Good luck, soldier."

Dag nodded and headed out. He went to Silis room, and knocked.

((Okay Jokemaster, just so you know, the entire mission will be a set up by a third party trying to cause a war between the Mandalorians and the Republic, the Republic would not acctually try to force the Mandalorians to join. Also the Republic doesn't even know where Mandalore is but not dismissing the possibuility that they found out.

Wildjedi, you could get involved with Princess Lyla's mission, say that the imperial remnant hires you to assassinate the Mandalorian General.))

Silis opened his door, "Oh hi Dag, I was just getting ready to go to the Academy for more training. What's up?"

As they walked to the training center Dag briefed him.

"The republic's moved some regiments to a planet near here. Command thinks they may be trying to pressure us into joining. So you, me, and 10 other guys have to go find out what they're doing, and take action if necessary. So I'm going to put you through stealth and assault rounds. All right?"

When they arrived at the military base's training center Silis began his stealth and assult training. Silis did very well for a trainee's first time. After the exercise was done Silis came back to Dag.

A moment later Dag's corporal came by, "Dag sir, the team is ready for breifing on the mission. They await you back at HQ."

"All right." He turned to Silis. "You did well. Now come on."

He started walking to the briefing room. He arrived, and briefed the soldiers.

"Any questions?"

"Yeah." Asked another of the recruits. "Why don't we just go in blasting?"

"Because I said so. Any smart questions?"

A pair of flight officers entered the room and moved towards Dag and his task force. The younger looking of the two stopped short but the older man moved up to Dag. "We'll be your flight officers for the mission, we've already been briefed by the lutenant. We're ready to take you know if you're done your briefing."

((I'm going to have Jenira run into JM's character's party... maybe he'll recognize her... :D ))

Jenira's ship came out of hyperspace and landed on Coruscant. As she came down the ramp, she was approached by Garnoth, blaster in hand.

"You weren't supposed to live through that," he told her. Before she could respond, Garnoth was shot in the back and a man encased in Mandalorian armor approached her.

"He didn't know it, but you were supposed to survive," he said. "Consider it your test."

"A pity you deprived me of the pleasure I would've had killing him," Jenira said quietly. "I suggest you leave now if you don't want to die in his place."

The Mandalorian tossed her a datapad and turned to leave. Jenira frowned, returned to her ship and looked at the datapad.

"Scum," she muttered. The datapad told her that a team of Mandalorians had gone rogue. Because Jenira grew up with the Mandalorians, they knew she could take this rogue team down. And that's what they wanted her to do. Her ship took off and she began muttering to herself. Something didn't feel right about this...

----------------

Back on Coruscant, the 'Mandalorian' removed his helmet and chuckled. He took his comlink and said, "She's on her way... it's all going as planned. She'll look like a Republic hired assassin and she thinks the Mandalorians are rogues... she'll probably die, but our war will start."

"Excellent," the other voice said. The connection was cut and the fake Mandalorian removed the rest of the armor and slipped into a crowded cantina.

Silis, Dag, and the other's spent the next few hours in hyperspace as their ship flew towards their destination. They pulled out of hyperspace a safe distance away. "Dag," The flight officer called back as he turned around in his seat, "I've scanned the sector, there are no other ships orbiting the planet. We're preparing to enter the atmosphere."

((I'd like it if perhaps we could all get in a lovely space battle before Jenira realizes who she's dealing with... she'll most likely get shot down and go into a controlled crash. :) ))

Mere minutes later, Jenira's ship came out of hyperspace and she was able to identify the Mandalorian ship. She hailed the ship.

"Mandalorians stand down," she ordered, firing a warning shot.

"Who the hell is that!" The flight officer shouted, "Switching to attack mode, standby." he heard the order to stand down and ignored it. The Mandalorian ship turned quickly to face the other ship and it's weapons were fully armed and locked on. The spec ops craft was like a heavily armed navy version of an APC. The flight officer opened comm with the other ship, "You are an unidentified craft in Mandalorian space, identify yourself."

"Name doesn't matter," Jenira answered sharply. "What you're trying to do is what matters. Stand down or I'll be forced to attack."

Jenira's ship was something so highly modified it didn't even resemble the original craft any longer... save for the smal Republic insignia somebody had painted on without Jenira's knowledge.

"I've identified the ship sir, it's a heavily modified rebel fighter of some sort." He turned slowly over to the officer, "And by heavily modified I mean extremely heavily modified."

The officer leaned over to look at the scanner, "There's no way something that modified is a rebel ship, it's probably a merc ship." He returned to his origional position. "We don't have time for this," He mumbled. "I don't care how modified it is, nothing stands between a Mandalorian and his objective." The officer spoke again to Jenira, "You've obviously never faced a Mandalorian before have you? Merc scum," He emphasised the insult strongly, "Mandalorians never stand down." With that he opened fire with everything the ship had to offer.

"Hold on!" The co-pilot yelled to the crew.
