VERY easy for me to do, a bit difficult to understand for newcommers.

 

also it would require me to make 2 blank 128x128 low quality (100 below KBs) icons for each variant, plus this wont clog up MP Icon space.

 

The way Psyk0 did it is cool too.

the newcomers don't have to understand it, once its installed its fairly simple for them to go create a new character from the clone race :)

 

also I was thinking, what weapons with the clone NPCs use? just out of interest

 

as for Bly's pistols, yea he does use different pistols to ARC clones and other clone commanders, I know where you can get a ref of them too, just finding it...

How so, no longer supported?

 

 

I just did some research on that and it seems that razorace has found a way to achieve the holstering without the tags.

Well, I reached a nice milestone today. I was successfully able to make a weapon appear to be visually holstered without requiring the special models that were nessicary in previous versions of OJP.

 

I hope to have this feature fully operational in a week or so (I'm very busy with school work).

O.k. Ive been messin around with the files I have so far, heres what is basically ready.

 

Classic Clones red, green, yellow, blue, purple, standard white. With shaders, sounds, bot support.

 

Arc Clones (I decided to go with just one Arc Clone model) Captain, Commander, Soldier, and default (Blue/lavenderish), New gunholsters, shaders, sounds, and bot support.

 

Clone Commanders: Bacara, Cody, Neyo with sounds, shaders, and bot support.

 

Episode III Clones: 501st, and Shadow Clone. Shaders, sounds, and bot support.

 

Team Colors included for models that best support it (example red Clones for red team)

 

I may pass on the NPC support, unless someone wants to put together a separate zip folder containing this as an alternative. The models look very good ingame. I had a lot of fun shooting at these guys. Now I can focus on the other two varients.

 

I would like to state that I am not concerned about separating the files (as a method of reducing file size). My reason for this, is that I want the models to be all-inclusive to the online community. If everyone has these models in thier folder, then they will be used. Separating the files will only mean that only some people will have some clones, and others will not. By keeping the models as a whole set people will be more likely to use them, because others will have them. By using bot support instead of NPC support, Players will have all the models available to them in multiplayer (without surpassing their NPC extensions). I am sorry that I havent been able to answer all your questions (I only have very little time to stop by and check what posted). More to come, Marzout!

And NeoMarz, since you haven't let me know about the sounds, I'm assuming the sounds you have for the classic Clones are not mine. I hope you reconsider and give me a shot, but I look forward to hearing your choices regardless.

 

Note that I planned on having similar, yet not the same sounds for the Phase I (classic) and Phase II (Ep. III) Clones, as well as specific sounds for certain heros such as Cody.

well it cant really be done till everything is done, can it? or atleast until Marz has all the texture names, skin files and such for all clones. though you can always add more clones later when others are finished. Ok, now I'm just poking holes XD ones that are easily fixable and obvious too :S what? I get bored
