The Victory SD was made to compete with the Venator and it eventually won seeing as the victory was a more well rounded ship and the Venator wasn't. so the VSD is a carrier, and not a troop transport. alot of ven fans think otherwise. Because you never played Rebellion? never got involved in the Star Wars Combine? never bought SW Tech books? didn't know about Tarkin landing one on a bunch of protesters? wasn't aware they were the last SD that could enter the atmosphere? Just a small correction: While tecnically you could say the Acclamator was built by Kuat, it was actually built by Rothana Heavy Engineering, which had been bought by the Kuat family years before. You cannot say it was built by Kuat Drive Yards though as it is a different company, but within the same Kuat family business. RHE deserves the credit for building it. Are a casual fan and not a rabid source thumping fan boy? your right, im not a "rabid source thumping fan boy", im just a guy who likes games, and thinks that however LA, petro, or whoever makes the game, will make it fun. if they decide to cut some stuff from the game, oh well, its their desision and no matter what we say or how many voters we can get to vote FOR it, will bring the ven back. its great to see that alot of people have taken interest in this, but to argue back and forth with each other, seems pointless. if you want your ship so bad, just mod it in, because thats going to be the only way to get it back. i'll really be surprized if LA (or whoever made the decision to cut the VEN) brings the ven back into the original game.
