Hackleburg City heroes

Recommended Posts

Hackleburg City, the fictional metropolis somewhere in the US. It is a place where crime is going wild and most of the cops are working for a mob boss. This is why it has also been noticed in the Superhero and the Supervillain circles. There were villains popping up everywhere, but two men finally apeared from the shadows of the huge city. These two were the founding members of The Challengers and the starters of The Sanctuary, a manor in the middle of a huge private area that's open for all good-willed mutants and other superhero. The area itself is heavily defended for any attacks against it, even thought the citizens of Hackleburg City knows only that it's a very selective private school for many ages

For this RP's appearaces, I'll require you to either:

A) Describe it from head to toe

B) Have a drawn picture

or

C) Make it with Heromachine

((You've changed from multiple personas to shapeshifters... I miss the psychotic fights in your char's mind...

...Not >.>))

A dark figure looked down upon the city, his mask covering a wide smile as he sat on a statue of a skyscraper. He looked straight down and then jumped down, extending his hand towards the way he wanted to go and a web shot out of his wrist, grabbing something and so swung Black Spider down into that direction. He lifted his legs just a bit as he was swung so low that his feet would've otherwise his someone walking in the head. As he had swung all the way to the end of the web's rach, he shot out another web from his other wrist and released the old web. He was in the downtown area, near the city university where he was headed to meet his brother. He looked around carefully to make sure that no crimes would be happening. The superhero was also scouting for possible students to the Sanctuary

((G'morning, Tepe! I'm back! :) And don't wish too hard for my psychotics... they can always come back :p))

Just like any given day, there was crime. Five men gathered around two foxes, laughing and throwing stones. They were naturally frightened when one of the foxes spoke.

"You'd best be runnin' off now," it said. The men grew quiet for a moment, wondering if they could believe their ears. The voice came again, "This fox ain't happy with your behavior."

Suddenly, the smaller of the two foxes transformed into a young woman with dark hair and blue eyes. In her hand was a staff and the men quickly learned that such a thing was painful if used properly... and this girl used it properly. The men decided it wasn't worth it and ran off. The young woman glanced at her companion and turned and walked down the street, staff still in hand and fox following.

((Hurrah!))

Black spider crawled down an alleyway wall and loked at the fox following a girl with a staff. Odd... He better give her a short speech of laws that say all pets to be held in leaches outside. A white web came from the target and grabbed the staff. Black spider pulled and the staff came flying to his hand. He held the staff and hung it on a strand of web that he hung onto a fire escape. He was quite sure that the lady would follow soon after the staff and jumped up onto the wall and crawled up into a darker section of the wall to wait

Miranda gasped when her staff was taken from her. Then, she got angry. She slipped into the shadows and vanished before entering the dark alley. Her sharp eyes soon caught the stranger hanging from the wall. Then, her voice seemed to come from three different places.

"What do you want?" she asked, still invisible.

"You seem to have forgotten animal control. Your Fox isn't in the end of a leach and that happens to be ilegal" he said and looked around calmly. He had met a 'shadow-stalker' before and had some experience in them. He crawled along the wall and into a spot where was no shadow and the sun was birght. Black Spider looked around carefully and waited for her to make a move

"Who are you?"

"Two things," Miranda said. "First, the fox isn't a pet; he follows me by his own choice. Second, he doesn't much like leashes and neither do I."

She kept well within the shadows. "But since you asked somewhat nicely, I'll tell you... I'm Shadowfox."

Up on one of the rooftops, Shadow watched bellow the busy streets of Hackleburg City. Nothing was happening where he was at, just a casual night as usual. He jumped from one rooftop to the next with great ease due to his intensive Martial Art trainings until he heard something. He heard two voices down below and careful looked down without drawing attention. He didn't saw anything so he bend down behind the edge of the rooftop and listened carefully.

"Pretty obvious... Why didn't I think of it myself" he said and rolled his eyes under his mask. He looked at the staff, waiting for it to move. He crawled down a bit and leaned his back onto the wall. "The law is still the law, whatever might you say about the fox" he noted and got ready to fling his web at her if he woudl reveal herself for even a moment. His spider-sence was going wild but couldn't locate Shadowfox from he shadows

Black spider smiled and took a card from his belt, flipping it down onto the ground. "Now it's all" he said and looked at the card, flipping throught the air. He jumped down and formed a web between his hand and the fire escape. He swung himself back out of the alleyway and left towards the university again. He passed the belltower on his way and topped next to it. His brother had already left by this time, or so he said in the morning, and then looked around. He should leave for the Sanctuary then. And so he did

The card had the address of the Sanctuary on it and The Sanctuary written in beautiful lettering and a small black and white picture of the mansion on the top right corner. On the lower right corner was written in the same beautiful lettering 'You are most welcomed'

Steel falcon ran along rooftops and jumped form them with ease. Although he did not have the super ability to jump great distances, with the momentum he could create he can jump pretty far. With his staff in hand and cape flowing behind him and made a great leap and landed smoothly on a rooftop, he stopped and looked out.

"AHH!" He heard. He looked down over the edge and saw a woman and man being chased by 4 thugs. They chased them to a dead end.

"Leave us alone please! we already gave you our money."

"But we want more than that." they all laughed as the approached the woman. Steel Falcon lept down jumping off of walls and using fire escapes to get down, he laned in between the thugs and the couple.

"Bad move stranger." They all said as the pulled out knives.

"Heh, nope that'd be yours." Falcon said then whipped around his staff and engaged all four. Using his skill and training which had taken all of his life to perfect, he swiftly disarmed them all and then proceeded to beat them all. Two of them learned and ran but the other two refused.

"Fine, you lose your life instead of your dignity." Falcon said angrily as he attacked the two men. He smashed one into a wall and the other he jabbed right in the chest with the end of his staff. The one who hit the wall attacked him, But he brought his staff down right where the neck meets the shoulder. He broke his neck and killed him. The other who lost his breath tried to get up and run, But Falcon threw his staff at him like a javelin and knocked him back down to the ground. The couple stood in terror the enitre time. Falcon appraoched the man, grabbed his head and broke his neck, then turned to the couple.

"Be smarter next time, run to an open street or a highly populater area, not a bloody alley." With that, he sped off in a silvery-gray blur, Heading towards the sanctuary.

After listening to the conversation, all Shadow has learned was there was a problem with foxes in this city and there are two more people in Hackleburg City, one with the name Shadowfox. "Is she some sort of Superhero?, Shadow thought to himself. He knew automatically that the other person was with the way he was speaking. He still waited and not moved from his spot, hoping to know anything else.

Shadowfox cautiously became visible again and picked up the card the stranger had left. Without looking at it, she put it in her pocket and retrieved her staff. Then, she called for the fox. It approached her and she said, "Sorry, I'll have to carry you for a while."

It seemed to understand and she picked it up gently. With a little sigh, she moved out of the alley and walked away.

Black Spider landed softly on the roof of the Sanctuary and was greeted by a security bot his brother had helped make by funding the research project. The superhero pulled his mask off and the bot placed a small screen infront of his eyes. It scanned his iris and then led him inside. Thomas walked after the bot and departed it after they had gotten down. He walked down the corridor and into his office, where his clothes waited neatly folded on his desk. He shook his head. How could someone want to fold someone's clotes every time they got wrinkled. Thomas would have to talk with Louis about this cleaning freak they had in the building but for now, he got dressed into a pair of jeans and a collar shirt and then sat down onto his large leather chair. He waited with an eager smile for Shadowfox to arrive

Shadow looked over the ledge once more as he heard a voice and saw Shadowfox walking away. He also noticed that Black Hawk has landed on a rooftop not far from him. Not trying to draw her attention, Shadow quickly lept over the ledge from where he was hiding and landed on a fire escape. He then slid down the stairs of it and landed and onto an alleyway in shadows, the same alleyway Shadowfox and Black Spider were talking in. "Was that another superhero? That woman with a hawk?" he thought to himself. He then slowly went towards where Shadowfox turned and saw her at the distance.

After a while of walking, Shadowfox finally took the card out and looked at it. For a while, she merely stared at it. Then she smiled and shook her head.

"Most welcome," she murmured. "Sure I am."

But as much as she wanted to, she couldn't let the thought go. "The Sanctuary... what sort of place..." she murmured to herself. Finally, she shrugged.

"Ok, fine," she finally said. The fox turned its head to look at her. "What... you want to go?"

The fox yipped and Shadowfox laughed.

"Alright," she said. "We'll go."

She read the address and started off toward it.

Louis looked out of his window with a sigh. He knew his brother was home and he knew that the superheroe count of the city was growing. It was growing too fast, if you asked him. The tall man finally walked out of his office and into Thomas' after a knock or two.

"Yeah?"

"You found anyone?"

"Found two, but the other wasn't good enought"

"Well?"

"She's coming here. I left her the card"

"Good... We need something here... Last generation left to other cities and now we need to get locals. It gets lonely with these bots around"

"Yeah..."

Louis looked out of the window and shook his head quietly before walking to the window. The road went a long way throught a small forest before it reached the gate with lion statues on both sides of the gate and a high steel fence going around the area. The road continued from there and finally connected to the main road of the city. You would be better off taking a taxi than waling

"We've got a nice long run ahead of us," Shadowfox murmured. The fox in her arms turned his head to look at her and she nodded. "Yes, yes we do. We'll get to the forest and then we'll run."

She walked at a good pace and it wasn't long before she got far enough to where she felt safe shifting. Then, two foxes ran along the road toward the address on the card.

The gates opened for the foxes to pass and closed after them. In the darkness of the woods, a couple of cameras focused on the two figures running along the road. The video feed connected into Louis' and Thomas' TV but because of Louis being in Thomas' room, they started talking about which was the real fox. Louis put a $20 on the table and Thomas called, waiting for the girl to reveal itself from the two foxes.

It was not hard to guess that the brothers were there to wait for the foxes, sitting on the steps of the mansion, waiting eagerly of which would win the bet
