Accents in the GFFA?

Ok so im re-reading Dark lord again *Luceno>Zahn* and it mentions the character Brudi Gayn has a Outer Rim accent, so anyway i was just wondering if anyone knew if a Outer Rim accent has a earth equivalent like most of the other accents heard through the series do?.

I'm guessing here, but I'd stab at Australian and American, country wise, as shown throughout the OT and PT most members of core worlds have english accents.

 

Although, it seems Australian accents are kept for Mandalorians.

 

So, I'd guess American, in a country sense, dunno about what specific provincial accent.

It does seem the closer to the core you go the more english you sound.

Is Han Solo's accent correllian or do you think over time he's picked up a outer rim accent from all his smuggling?

BZZT ! Gosh, you obviously cannot pick a New Zealand Maori accent ! Both Fetts have them (Temeura Morrison and Daniel Logan)

 

Though there are some aussie actors in AOTC/ROTS. ie. all the Larses are aussie actors, none of them kept their accent.

 

I'd say an outer rim accent is closer to an american one eg. Luke, Biggs.

Inner rim would be more typical Coruscanti. ie British sounding. eg. Admiral Ozzel, General Veers, Capt Piett. Capt Needa etc. Of course alot of this had to do with the fact that those scenes in ESB/ANH/ROTJ were shot in England... lolz

Strangly enough i completly over looked luke having a Outer Rim accent tatooine completely slipped my mind.

 

So i guess its safe to say an outer rim accent is basically whiney american as seen with Luke and Anakin
