RC-1162 Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 since this thread is the most replied to and long gone off topic, id like to ask something: does the game become unplayable if you don't have PixelShader 1.1? i mean, i ran an analysis of my com according to the requirements of RC and it seems that the only thing i've failed is the PixelShader thing. however, when i played the game in India, it was working well. i dont have PixelShader there either. the occasional textures were uncolored, but it was still working glitch-free. today i felt like playing RC after a long time, and i installed it. it opens up the main menu no problem, but when i press "new game" it just loads "the beginning" fully, then immediately exits saying that it has to close. can anybody help?
