((WOO HOO! I broke the 200 posts mark! HORRAY!))

Raek stood there with his mouth open after hearing Kin's question.

"You serious? You have no idea where Tibrin is? Well, then. Looks like someone is gonna get a starchart and navigation lesson from old Raek here." Raek looked at himself, "Ok. I'm not that old."

((Ok, Joe, you asked a question. I'll provide my answer: Sol-ahr. Now answer me this: Riebe? (Keep in mind I've only just recently settled on the way I say it... and I'll probably end up changing her last name) :) ))

Riebe chuckled slightly at Raek's comment. "No, you really aren't," said the woman who, in appearance was nineteen, and in reality was so much older. "But don't be so shocked at Knight Solar's confusion. Tibrin isn't exactly a commonly visited planet, you understand."

"I don't know where it is, either," Danni pointed out and Riebe smiled.

"Well, Raek," she said, "are you going to explain? Or should the one who's actually been there once or twice in the last couple of thousand years explain it?"

"Thousand?" Danni asked curiously.

"A few years over two thousand," Riebe agreed. She chuckled and turned to Strider. "Isn't it funny how even those closest to us react that way at the mention of our ages?"

"Go ahead. Just know this, before I joined the Order, my history was, let's say, not the most exemplary of professions." Raek said, clearing his throat. "But, please. I am sure you have more knowledge of Tibrin than of someone who has bareley gotten away with his life from there."

Strider nodded at Riebe and replied, "It is amusing to see everyone's reaction when they figure our real ages. I'm a bit over four thousand, and I only look twenty-three."

He paused for a moment, then turned to Raek, "As for less than an exemp resumé...I'm a previously Exiled Jedi, Ex-Sith, former underground Mercenary/Hitman, Current Sith Hunter, and the first I know of to venture into the Unknown Regions and return to tell about it. It's probably the reason though many respect me, many fear what I would have to teach them. The only reason I can think of that Luke let me return to the Jedi is this: I may be trouble, but I'm worth every bit of it."

((Indeed.))

Raek and the others came to the assembly area where the ships gathered for boarding.

Approaching a boarding gangway, Raek stopped along the side and extended his hand out for the ladies to get on first.

"Ladies," Raek said, watching them go on to the plank.

((I don't know how many women there are, so I just went with it and made it plural))

((None of you answered Kin's question of where Tibrin is. Also, you seem to have the idea that al lthe ships and diplomats are ready for leaving. And knowing the Republic, it wouldn't send diplomats to such a powerful enemy without an escort, which takes time to gather. Also, I would like to note that the jedi would probably not board the jedi straight away as there are no landing platforms connected to the Jedi temple. They would take a transport to the landing pad where their red-painted ship would be waiting for them and the senate's peopl :p ))

Sith fleet

The Sith fleet jumped swiftly after they had recieved the Grand Admiral onboard his flagship. The fleet one by one disappeared and after the long travel they would jump over Tibrin where the Grand Admiral would report to Darth Tepe and wait for the meeting with the Republic diplomats.

Coruscant

The senate swiftly gathered themselves a group of trusted volunteers that would go with the jedi. It was an unbelievably quick decision taking to consideration how long simple things can take in the senate sometimes. Six would be leaving. A Twi'lek male, a Falleen female, a Human male, a Human female, a Bothan male and an Aqualish male. They boarded transports that would lead them to the landing pad, escorted by their serveant droids of all kinds.

Above Tibrin

Darth Tepe fell into deep meditatio inside the Sphere, seeing the whole Galaxy and it's movements. He could reach throughout the Galaxy from the Unknown Regions to the deep core and again to Unknown Regions. He started chuckling menacingly, feeling the power this gave him. No more clumsy holographic maps or debates with Commanders and Admirals, but straight commands given throught the force. His mind now concentrated on Coruscant, his chuckling turning into a laughter when the Sith Fleet jumped out of orbit and towards Tibrin. He then zoomed in, concentrating on the jedi temple where a single tranport was ready to leave for a diplomatic ship waiting for them.

'Pathetic, isn't it, dear Sith Hunters? Both the Senate and the Jedi Council are in heavy debate over should they kill me off or not, but both know the New Republic is too weak for an open war this soon. I shall wait for you with excitement' his voice rang inside Strider's and Riebe's minds, probably surprising them as nobody was powerful enought to contact someone throught the force from this far. He wasn't either, byt the Sphere magnified his powers enought so he could contact anyone anywhere and see everything. The Sphere was pure genious, nothing more, nothing less

((Actually, yeah, this story is falling behind with idle chatter. With your permission Tepe, let's assume we've transported to the landing pad already and have been awaiting the diplomats.))

After arriving at the landing pad themselves, before the senators, the Jedi assembled near the transport that would take them to the Sith fleet, waiting for the Senators.

Strider's hand involuntarily clenched upon receiving the message in his mind. It was too true though, but he felt the signature of the message come from afar...very far. He looked at Riebe, assuming she had received it as well. He had a bad feeling, a real bad one.

He turned to the arriving senators, and bowed respectfully to them, not that he held any respect for politicians, but had to be courteous anyway. He held a hand to the side, signifying for them to board first, in priority (sp?) over the Jedi.

Strider waited for the rest of the Jedi and Riebe to board. He looked around momentarily at Coruscant, at the Jedi Temple in the distance, and the Senate. The Sith Hunter turned, then quietly boarded the ship, taking a seat by himself as he usually did.

((Alright.))

The shuttle rose from the atmosphere of the glimmering planet of Coruscant and met up with the New Republic escort fleet. Their shuttle docked within the ship's hangars, but the Jedi and diplomats were asked to remain inside, after all, after hyperspace they would soon be departing once again. The ships made the jump to hyperspace to the rendevous coordinates with the Sith Lord Tepe.

Strider shifted in his seat, growing more and more uncomfortable about the situation. Several thoughts passed through his head, including his past memories. He sorted through all of them now, dealing with them as he should have years ago. His facial expression looked troubled to those who may look in his direction.

At Tepe's message, Riebe's right hand closed into a fist and briefly wished for something to pound on. This was certainly worthy of her trademark response of frustration. Then, a glaring defiance settled over her face. Hoping Tepe's somehow extended reach would hear her, she responded.

Taunt all you like, was her flippant response. If all comes to ruin, I can always return to hiding and you know it.

Hand still clenched tightly, she boarded the shuttle. As they flew, she watched Strider. Once they docked with the larger ship, she approached him.

"I am uncomfortable with the situation, Brother," she murmured. "And I sense you are also."

"Dealing with such a powerful Sith has resurfaced memories of myself when I learned from many powerful Lords," he muttered, not looking at Riebe.

Strider looked up at her, then waved his hand to the seat next to him, "Have a seat, Sister," he said. He sorted his thoughts, and sat back in his chair, looking to Riebe. His expression looked more clear, more resolute, as if he had solved one part of the many difficult puzzles that had formed in his head over the years. "What are your worries, Sister, and maybe I can align them similarly with mine," Strider asked.

"We agree that Tepe is not like other Sith Lords of the past," Riebe said quietly. "But what if we're only partially right? All Sith we've known have been obsessed with power. If we give him what he asks for, why wouldn't he ask for more? Greed and an obsession for power are key points for the Dark Side."

"Because even temporary cease-tensions between Sith and Jedi would be sufficient enough that if he did get out of control, to set up a framework for a counteroffensive. People like Mercenaries profit less from an efficient system. I guarantee Tepe's rule will be extremely efficient. Imagine their willingness to join a side willing to pay them enough to risk themselves against that system that costs them their profits?" Strider stated. He paused, letting out a breath, he looked at Riebe.

"I guess you could say I've thought of alot of things should this go wrong. I'd fight a war by myself if I had to...Normally I would hide, and let things pass over, like I've done many a time, including my disappearance into the Unknown Regions..." he paused, then added, "The main reason I became a Sith Hunter, Riebe...was to find the Sith Lord who killed my friend. I never found him, I never killed him. Because of this failure, I became a mercenary after we disbanded, and later vanished completely into the Unknown Regions, to give myself a reason to forget about things. When I came back, I never wanted anything to do with my past. Now I'm facing a powerful Sith once again...and I'm wondering if I'm going to hide, or take the battle to him if things don't balance out."
