There is a nice amount of people interested its just they are busy most of the time. I dont know when we will be playing today thats why i was asking about if you got any instant messages. I also host when his server has problems or he cant be around. Today we were gonna do some co op missions together but so far we are missing 2 people. So ill keep you informed on whats going on. MasterRoss08 Posted November 11, 2006 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Thus ends another day of playing. Me vallo and andy got some things going today. We did alittle co op and alittle regular mode. I gotta tell ya those blasted imperial guards are a pain in the neck not to mention those gammoreans. Im sorry aboutu your predicament ctigera. ctigera can only play mots and not jk which me and the rest were playing because vallo cant get mots to work yet. Maybewe can get some mots in later today. Its all in who shows up and when that sort of thing. Since we dont got a huge community of players here its hard to get anything going. We do have a good amount interested in playing its just most are to busy now and days with school maybe even work idk but who knows. We do the best we can. Hopefully they will find some open time to come and join us for some fun but its all in if they are intersted at all and im not here to force them to join us either. Im starting to get the hang of that editor since I was putting time into it lately Im having an idea on a storage hanger map with just bits of garbage , crates, ships u name it. So we will have to wait and see what i come up with. I dont want to go to grand I just want to put together some fun maps that we can enjoy for weeks to come but I dont want them to look stinky either so I will put a good amount of time into them. Kurgan Posted November 11, 2006 Author Share Posted November 11, 2006 bah, once again I let Friday go by without putting up the server and I forgot to put it up before I left for work. It seems there's been a general lack of interest in playing MotS though, people want to play addon maps or JK instead. Or am I wrong? If I had the server up pronto on Friday afternoon and kept it running all day and all day Saturday each week, would people still come to play MotS? I'm asking here in all honesty. I do encourage you to start your own game and post the IP here for others to join. I will start MY ip up as soon as I get home about 2 1/2 hours from now (it's 3:33pm Central, so that would be by 6pm). Again, I'm too busy this weekend to play much if at all, but I can host for others. If you do decide to host, please post the info here though and check back so we can all keep tabs. Kurgan Posted November 11, 2006 Author Share Posted November 11, 2006 Again I'd like to apologize, I thought I'd remember this week. Things have been very busy.. if it's not one thing it's another. School and work have kept me too busy to think about the server much lately (that doesn't mean I'm giving up!). When I get home on Friday morning I typically want to go right to sleep, and so I forgot to fire up the server the last two Fridays! Co-op would be cool, but I really don't have the time to spare this weekend for it, so go on without me there I guess! PS: The Co-op maps out there all typically are recommended for 2-3 players, and you better be GOOD and stick together. So perhaps my not being there is a plus in that case (but I would like to try it out with you guys sometime, for sure). We have a short vacation coming up in about a week, but before that I've got some papers and things due, so I'll be pretty stressed until then. Keep up the fight, though! Of course I would come on and play on your server kurgan I was hosting cause i didnt here anything from you. I understand if your busy and everything . thats why im here to host in your abscence. We can get some mots in this evening ctigera if your still interested. though nick wants to do co op this evening we prob wont be at that for long I think. Have you ever thought about downloading jedi knight ctigera so you can join us when we decide to do alittle Jedi knight( like co op this evening). I can understand if you cant im just making a few suggestions. We are nearing the holidays so im thinking if people are not busy and are interested we can get some nice matches going since we will be off from school or jobs etc . well unless you cant. Oh and vallo can play mots now and boy did he own me. we were playing some 1vs1 and talk about owning me well he didnt have it going all the time. Its just I dont got the stamina to keep my leads -.-. Ok hope to see you all later. As long as SOMEBODY is hosting a public game and posts the IP here for others to join, I'm happy! My server is up now (see the IP in my signature for it, it's the same as always). But I don't expect people to leave your game to join mine (unless they want to). I won't be playing, and it might be a little bit laggy as I'm downloading a file (but it might not be too bad, and it will soon be done). So join my game or don't, it's totally cool either way, just an option! Running rotating MotS maps until bedtime (I'll be up for at least another 3 hours). Enjoy! If you still there ill join ya if not then im sorry about this then. Ya the problems we face is the lack of people Thats why its vital that we communicate so we can find the people we play with. But we should expect this. this game is old so chances are not many are interested in this now. But we do have an ok amount that still want to play. OK every week only bout 6 including u but we got bout 10 that maybe more that are still interested it just they are plauged with school and work so they dont got the time to play. I hope to see you on tommorrow cause ill be here I think. Now on that co op . they are great i think. Its great that the did al lthe story mode. They even got spawn points after so far in the levels which is great. Now my only problem was in some levels I had grapfics problems. so I had to lower my resolution. even turn off 3d accelerator in some levels which stunk. other than that they fun. Its just I havnt played story mode in so long hehe. And thank you all that came on to play today. And again im sorry ctigera about U not getting anything going today. Had some fun with Co op, Nice matches with Vallo earlier, then the awesome deathmatch me,fred, Kurgan and vallo had it was a fun day. Hope tomorrow is better.
