Welcome To The World

"Unfortunately to you, I won't" the squad leader said and approached with the others. A drop of water fell on Alexander's armor and he grinned. This just got that much harder.

"It's starting to rain. We need to move fast before it increases and puddles start to form. When there's puddles, there's unwanted noise" the leader said and looked at the base.

"We recieved your scan report. We have everything we need. The other squads are moving in. When the patrols are rerouted to attack the distraction, we can slip in. Demolition, get your kits ready for immediate use. Once we get to the wall, we need to have the perimeter breached in two minutes exactly. That is probably long enought before any of those bugs notice something going on around the wall. The attack is commencing in 30 seconds. Get in your places" the leader continued and got ready for the dash to the wall. He took his rifle and pistol, attatched the silencers and then nodded. Alex did the same, going a bit further ahead, hiding behind some rubble while covering the area

The squad leader got ready and looked that the others were ready. Throught the radio, his voice was heard.

"From now on full silence. Communications throught hand signals" he said and nodded to Jason to get going. The Leader took his place and got ready to shoot any threat in sight while the medic got in place behind a pile of ubble near the wall, ready to shoot at any guards inside. He was joined by the other rifleman, heavyweapons and the other demolition while the others stayed more behind, ready to go throught as fast as they can and secure the new entrance from inside for the others

Jason closed his eyes, then opened them and bolted forward, going from cover to cover, kit in one hand, rifle in other. He ran with all speed until he got to the wall. He took the kit in both hands, placed it on the wall, shoved a timer into it, armed it and set it to blow in 10 seconds. He then ran back as fast as he could.

The man they call Dak, short for Darrick, readied his fighter plane for the first mission he could suicidedly think of.

"All Fighters report to the hangar." He made his way underground to the launch hangar. He hurried up to his fighter plane and climbed into it. He placed his rifle below the seat. He started his engine and the fighter roared to life along with the other planes. The gate in front of them started splitting revealing a black cave-like tunnel. The speaker blared throughout the hangar.

"Launch Echo 1." A plane slowly made its way into the tunnel.

"Launch Echo 2." The plane next to him started ahead of him.

"Launch Echo 3." Darrick pushed the throttle forward and the plane jumped then started moving. As he passed the gate, the automated voice kicked in, "Remember Dak you must reach 150 km/h before you reach the lighted archway."

"Yeah, Yeah...."

He pushed the throttle even farther forward. Once he reached the lighted archway in the tunnel, the blackness turned into landscape from the surface of the planet. Before he left the tunnel something sprung his plane, and he lifted into the sky. He followed the other planes until they came together in the formation.

"Remember, all you have to do is drop the 5 bombs with you into the military base and you come back to the hangar. You shouldn't encounter much resistance."

"Yeah... I'm sure." Right as he finished his sentence a plasma beam came down right in front of the group making everyone scatter to avoid getting hit by the beam that moved around chasing the nearest plane. Darrick took of towards the base as the others were being hailed upon by fire from the massive ships that hovered up in the sky above them.

"Remember you have a different squad moving on the base as we speak so you need to make a major distraction, so they can get in."

"Gotja."

((Did I say there were pilot positions open? There are still squad members open for grabs. You just chose a character that would make one appearance and then fade away becaue he just flies over the base and then leaves))

Even before the dust from the exploding wall had settled, the first ones went throught, opened fire on anything moving and secured the entrance until the others could pass throught. The medic ran throught the hole with the squad leader, guns blazing as soon as they got inside the compound and covered while the first team made it's way further up to the next cover where they would make sure that it was secure to go. They were near the first lift down to the underground levels. The other demo man got to the lift first, snapping on a blowtorch and cutting the lift wires so it crashed down. The team then attatched and secured three grappling hooks on whatever steady and heavy they could find, then threw a grenade down the shaft. An explosion rang from below with shrieks of the spider thingies that had started hurrying up to stop the invaders. While the team covered the entrance inside the underground levels, the squad leader waved for the others to pass throught and head immediately to the shaft and clip themselves to the ropes going into the darkness. The medic went a bit further up, shooting some aliens trying to jump at the first three that were pretty much in the open

Alli laughed. "And you'd make that comparison perhaps out of the experience of having done so?" She began her descent after about half of the squad had gone down. With both gun and knife in her hands, Alli prepared herself for the enemies she'd face. As she descended, she felt at her belt to check how many extra clips she had left for the pistol. Three. She hoped she wouldn't have to use them all.

(Black Knight, it won't be like that.My guys is a volunteer bomber trained maybe 30 minutes in simulation. As you noticed I posted my guys position [rifleman] and in this post, what he wears, so that fits your sign up sheet thing. he'll just replace the injured rifleman that was brought out.)

Darrick made his way towards the base, it came into view and immediately shots came from the base blazing past his plane window and wings. He readied the bombs and waited. "Hopefully I make it through this." He pressed the button, as the voice had told him to, and the bombs started falling at the gun emplacements, along with the barracks. As he started feeling good about what he had done for the soldiers down there, he least expected to be with them, as his wing was snapped by a laser beam, and he started to spin towards the base.

He tried and tried to level the plane before he crashed. He leveled the plane and it crashed into the ground inside the base. He opened the window hatch, unzipped his flight suit, revealing his exoskeleton, and grabbed his rifle and ammo from the floor. He climbed out and loaded a clip into his rifle(what kind of rifles do we have?). He looked above the crashed debris of the plane and noticed some spider creatures scuridly heading towards the crashsite. He didn't need his scope now, which he had just in case of long distance targets. He looked down the sights of his gun, hugged the trigger, and waited, since they hadn't noticed him to be alive. He looked around to see if the others around, when he noticed smoke or dust coming from between the border walls and the building along it. "They must be over there somewhere." He scimmed over his equipment and found a smoke grenade. He pulled the pin and smoke started coming out of it. He quickly dropped it in the cockpit of the plane and waited for the smoke to spread. Once the smoke covered much of the area, he made his way towards the area he had noticed earlier.

He heard gunshots up ahead along with shouting, so he knew that they were the soldiers he was looking for. He followed the dead spiders to an elevator shaft. He hooked himself up to the cord, and he slid down the cable, not knowing what was going on up ahead.

((OOC: Jedi Atomic, no offense but, punctuation is your friend. It's a bit hard to follow some parts of your posts, theres loads of runons.))

James was with them as they descended down the ropes, however, he was bolted much differently to the rope than the others. Rather than taking the usual upright position and lowering themself, he had, quite literally, climbed onto the rope, flipped himself upside down, and then secured himself to the rope and descended with the rest. While doing this, he had his rifle, now in burst mode, secure against himself, with one hand on the rope, lowering himself directly down, giving him a much better aim and accuracy of any spider creatures as they descended rapidly. This gained many peculiar glances from his comrades, but this mattered not to him, all he was concerned with now was, now that his scope was set to thermal vision, picking off the aliens as they descended farther into the dark.

The walls started to heat up, blidning the heat trails of the aliens.

"Didn't I tell you people to shut up?" the squad leader called out and switched the light attatched to the shoulder of his exoskeleton on. some others did so as well and they could clearly see the aliens crawling up ahead.

"There's too many that way. We'll have to take the long route" the medic whispered to the squad leader and threw a grenade at the aliens before rushing with some others to secure the corridor to their left that would lead to the main control room of the level. There they could get some lifts to work. Of course it wouldn't help them because the elevators weren't designed for human use, but the men soldiers could slide down the ropes they were carrying.

Alex raised his open hand to signal everyone to stop. There was a T-corridor there. After checking the other way, the medic looked to the other side where a larger, more rarely seen alien stood at guard. The aliens had put the base at high alert and all veterans and bigger aliens were sent up to get the invaders before any damage was done that couldn't be reversed. The roll of a flashbang gave out a metallic noise as it headed for the alien. Curious, the alien picked the thing up just before it exploded. It didn't really blind the alien due to the different eye structure, but it let out a sound big enought to scare the alien. It was enought time for the three first people to roll out and shoot the alien to swiss cheese, the medic being one of them. They still needed to clear the rest of the corridor behind the alien for the control room, but they were near to the place where they could get all the way down to the core. However, the way back up would be the more difficult part.

After the walls heated, James relied on his bare ironsights to make his shots, pulling off the scope and returning it to his pockets. He was one of the three who rolled out and peppered the alien with bullets, then stood to follow the rest, keeping to the flank to have a clear shot in front of them.

Darrick walked slowly along the wall as they started heating up. "Great now I'm going to get even more hotter in this suit." He pushed off the wall as He came to a T intersection, one way filled with aliens and the other basically empty. The alien spiders noticed him and started coming towards him. Quickly, he took a couple shots at the aliens and started running down the hallway to his left. Hopefully, he would meet up with the others soon, as he had many aliens onto him.

He spotted some soldiers kneeling down ready to fight and some shooting around the corners. "Hey! I need some help over here!" Darrick yelled as an aline jumped at him knocking him off his feet and to the ground.

((One exclamation mark will be sufficent from now on, thank you. I'm dissapointed at your teacher if he/she isn't teaching not to use more than one exlamation mark))

The squad moved on, clearing the corridors with their silenced weapons until they got to a large door. The squad leader signed with his hand for Jason to come up to the front and remove the locked door. The leader stood by the door, securing privacy for planting the explosives while the others were signalled to scatter around in pairs and make sure they weren't surprised from nay direction. Alexander headed back where they came from, reloading his rifle.

Jason crept up to the lock, ripped some of the gum that he was chewing and stuck it to the lock. Then he pulled out a small explosive from his pocket, planted it and crept back. It started to smoke, then a bright light flashed and disappeared. Presto, no more lock. Jason nodded to squad leader.
