Where did Petroglyph go?

It seems like after the release of the FoC patch, all the Petroglyph guys who used to frequent these forums disappeared. I don't know if I've seen a single post by any of them since the patch. We used to get fairly regular posts from them. Where'd you go, guys? It was nice to have you around.

Well, to be brutally honest, the forums have been really silent lately. The old SWGB.net forum lasted a lot longer then this, thanks mainly to camaraderie and the Off-Topic part being really alive. Unfortunately, it isn't the case here. So unless there is another expansion coming out or a sequel, don't expect much traffic around here.

Universe at War....wow the Petro people are very creative....

Anyways, I hope they fix this game up a lot. There are so many annoying things, including annoying AI and the Consortium pulling money out of their arse. The last path nerfed those arial artillary units...it's horrible. I used them to freeze those canderous tanks but now they are useless as those tanks can just keep firing at them.

Still though, if they add another expansion pack maybe theyll add the Hutts so the ZC and Hutts can fight eachother and not bother the Empire and Rebellion hehe.

don't worry, we're still here...just prepping the Map Packs for FoC for you guys:

and the Universe at War Announcement :)

Hope you guys are enjoying those!

Sageking - I noticed in a UAW article that Petro have been working on UAW for about a year now. So taking into account that FoC was released in October last year, does this mean Petro has two teams, or just one team working overtime? I also noted that the article mentioned Petro were streamlining and enhancing the EaW engine.

So, combining these two, what are the chances that there is a Petro team using an enhanced EaW engine to develop 'Clones at War' (or something similar)? :)

With Empire at War, Petro had alot more work to do - which mostly focused around creating the game engine. With those foundations now down, they can tweak and improve it greatly, giving them more time to work on the actual game design etc.

Remember, you can take part in Petro Game days if you check the main page of the site for the time and date, which is around every other friday. I know Petroglyph are extremely keen to build on the success of Empire at War but the final decision is with Lucasarts.

All i can say is, watch this space as we will be first to find out when something is announced
