I know I should of done that, so, now I am.

This picture is mainly for the focus on the Corset that Kate Beckinsale wears

in the movie. No one has to make this corset, if they don't want to.

This is the only picture I could find, that shows the back of the Corset, that

Kate Beckinsale wears in the movie UnderWorld.

This is a good picture to show the side of Kate Beckinsale's outfit in the

movie UnderWorld.

The only reason I wanted to make a mod like this, for Knights of the Old

Republic, is because of Bastila's hair, in this game, it annoys me.

I think she should have medium hair that at least covers her ears.

And I think she probably could wear a Corsette too, if anyone's up for it.

If you don't want to do it, give me a tutorial on it, and i'll again try to attempt

it.

Because I don't know if there is any tutorials on this sort of thing,

maybe, there isn't. I'm willing to try to make this, I don't know how though.

Maybe, I should keep researching or something. I don't even care if

someone makes a crappy mod of this, anything beats Bastila's haircut,

then the one she allready has, maybe, they could replace her hair with

someone's else's, I don't know. And I've seen leather outfits out there

for this game, so, I think that's do-able too. But how to do this, I don't know,

but i'm not giving up on this idea, because I think it's a good one.

If that's possible to put into the game, I was thinking the hair should look

a little more like this.

But if not, the closest thing to the Kate Beckinsale haircut in the KOTOR 1

game is this I believe.

Let me know which hairstyle is easier to make, if not, i'll have to figure out

a way to make it, if there is a way to change the hair of the bastila model,

or something, or replace it with an in game hairstyle, not sure.

Pfhb02 and the 3rd hairstyle for the pc seems like it would work the best.

I could do this with kse, but you can't change the clothes and stuff, if it

isn't a playable character, so, hmmm... Not sure what I should do,

how do you change the model of the character, is that the mdx or mdl

files, or is it something else.

Well, a .2da is like a data file, if you open one up in kotor tool you'll see what i mean, and a .mdl is a model file it has to be imported into 3dsmax or gmax with a plugin called nwmax, if you want to change the appearance of bastilla you can edit the appearance.2da file, or edit bastilla's .utc file (character file).

how are we killing Bastila?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How so?

I decided not to edit the .mdl file, there has to be a way to replace Bastila's

head, with another head in the game, right?

No, if you open p_bastilla.utc (located in kotor1--> BIFs--> templates.bif--> Blueprint, character--> p_bastilla.utc) there is a drop down menu that will change the appearance type to any of the entry's in the appearance.2da file, like so:

ktortoolcreatureeditorpic1.jpg

Once your finished with that file, save it to a location and place it in the override folder, i believe that will also work for what you want to do.

Yes. Look in heads.2da and find the entry that contains the PC head you want to use. Then go to appearance.2da to Bastila's entry and change the value in the head column to the new value.
