KOTOR I Problems with Romance: Well for Male Revan and Bastila it was alright. I mean they got to kiss in their romance scene and everything. Just Female Revan and Carth really stunk! I mean they didn't even kiss. Also when she goes to fight Malak he never says "I love you be careful," or anything. Plus when he says he loves her he doesn't even meet eye contact! Whats with that!?!

KOTOR II Problems: There was no romance AT all for females. All Atton and Disciple did was argue over who was better for her. No kiss, no hug, no nothing. That was really disappointing cause I wanted Disciple to go away. I liked Atton. XD

KOTOR III needs: They need a mix between KOTOR I + II in the romance but they also need added. Like for example, maybe an argument between two females for males, and maybe an argument between two females for males. Like the feud Atton and Disciple had. Also, when they finally get to the "I love yous" they need to meet eye contact! Kiss + Hug stuff. No "I can't wait till this is over"

Rule: <.< >.> Also...NO FLAMMING YOU EMOTIONLESS PEOPLE! <.< >.> Sorry, I am just a Romance lover. Also, Carth haters please don't put me down. Just Carth was a cutie. :p

Edit: Do not make this offensive please. I do not want this to be a removed thread. I'd appreciate some serious posts not just jokes. No more talking about gay/lesbian relationships as well. No more. Its getting inappropriate. Thank you. For the romance let the developers decide. Now talk about what should be added except gay-lesbian relationships. Thank you.

Note: Romance is Optional in all the games.

I guess I'm kind of a big softy at heart. I like what ya had to say.

I thought the Revan/Bastilla relationship was pretty well put together. I'm sorry you ladies kind of got hosed in the Carth department. (I never played it that way to find that out) I've always really liked Carth, even from the very beginning. It's a shame nothing ever worked out for him in the romance department. :D

How do you know it was just a kiss? The game never tells you exactly what happened. How do you know it wasn't the "morning after"? :naughty:

In K2, female characters get to see Disciple and Atton kill each other in the TSLRP. :)

Carth may not kiss, but I heard he and Female Revan can go and do a lot of insults. Carth can take it and dish it, so I can see that as pretty good...

But, I hate romances a lot. They seem out of place...and not only that, I would like to remind that both Revan and Exile kill off a lot of people. They are murderers, and I feel that a killer should not fall in love when he is at the same time killing off people and denying those people the ability to love.

Romance is distracting. Warfare is fun!

Uh, maybe a little beavis and butt-head style comedy too?

Huhuh-huh, that would be cool.

Heh-heh. Yeah, chicks who like to headbang and stuff. heheh-heh-heh.

Long as dude gets still some kind of satisfaction too, I'm down.

You could have a choice for some kind of love that gets twisted and ends tragically. I mean, that's how Vader fell, and the emperor never told him to 'just get over it'...which made it all the more easy for him to manipulate Vader.

Tell it to a military spouse. Hell, tell it to a soldier! For that matter, there's hardly a lack of blood on the hands of the "love interests." Atton's practically bathing in it, Brianna is a warrior by birth. Visas was a Sith's apprentice. Carth and Mical are career soldiers. ("You're the soldier, father. How many mothers have you killed?!" - Dustil) Bastila is on the verge of Jedi Knighthood.

I tell other fanfic writers that romance is like chili peppers. It's not appropriate for every type of cusine. Too much, and it overpowers the dish. And not everyone's got a tolerance for it. However, just a bit can bring out the contrast in an otherwise bland and grim meal.

In K1, the romance added a note of contrast and balance to what was otherwise a VERY bleak plot. We saw this in K2 where it was just doom, gloom, and defeat with zero contrast aside from gallows humor.

You know thats not a bad idea, as you would think that LA wouldn't want all the public to think that they were against gays would you, but i doubt they will include this in the game, but it would be interesting. lol

Well, K1 DID have Juhani and LSF Revan, but they had to be subtle, lest the crowd buying the "Left Behind" shooter get all crazy about it.

Oh my goodness... People I did not want this to be offensive! Henz...please stop not all people are like that.

Anyway, yes Romance needs to be part of it. Plus, its optional in the game. ^^ I am such a softy for it.

Well obviously I was putting things in the most vulgar way possible for a laugh but being a love rat should be an option if you're playing as a bit of a ... not very nice person.

Yes, and we snip vulgar content here since it's a PG-13 forum. Keep it clean, Henz. --Jae

It all needs to be subtle, gay or straight, and that's not a religious thing for me. It's a Star Wars game, not a porn game. I don't need my kids seeing 'The Wild Thang' in a PG-13 game, and it's not in keeping with the spirit of SW anyway. SW is supposed to be family-friendly. There are plenty of other places to get a sex-fix. SW isn't one of those places.

That being said, I do enjoy the romance options, and I missed it in TSL. I know some don't feel Jedi should have romances, but they also have the options not to select the romance dialog options in the game, too, if they don't want to roleplay that way. I'd like to see the romance option return for K3.

You say you want a cool plot - romance ties very intricately into pretty much every great plot I've ever seen.

Well, for you perhaps Rhett, but there should be a more darker plot, like the one in TSL, like revenge against somebody, like the Sith, or something else, but Im not saying that there shouln't be a relationship between characters, just not to many. :D

Teens play the game to Henz. Stop being vulgar! Its not all about adults!

Well my last post wasn't vulgar at all (and the first one was self-censored anyway), and I stand by a characters right to be a bad person if the player chooses to.

Ohh, i wasn't trying to be vulgar, i was just merely saying it would be.... interesting if they did it, i just think they should be fare on gays. Ok thats the last thing about that from me,.

There's nothing vulgar about homosexual relationships.
