The Seeker Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 So, yeah, LadyJedi spotted one of those R2-D2 mailboxes in our town and with the help of an anonymous volunteer with hair long enough to put in buns, we got a pretty iconic shot. See the postcard we are sending to a friend? The message reads: "Help us Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're our only hope." So, yeah, we totally sent that message in artoo. Yes, we are nerds. Haha that's nostalgic she should wear white robes though and have more visible buns. That was as close as we could get. We tried to get her to cover her ears with the buns but they wouldn't stay. To help celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars the United States Postal Service will be introducing custom mailboxes wrapped in R2-D2 graphics. Although I don't know what they're gonna do with them, since the second they're actually put on the street they'd just get stolen. And probably by some nerd too. Stupid nerds! lmfao!
