They are. I remember another one, where he did or said something, which I don't recall, but which caused a woman to insult him, and so prompted this result...

That was the same woman he insulted in my earlier quote, actually. :D

 

One other time Winston got a letter from a playwright who disliked him, inviting him to the first opening of his play. At the end he added "Bring a friend - if you have one." Churchill wrote back saying he was busy that night, but that he would be sure to come to the second opening - if there was one.
