Mindtwistah Posted May 11, 2007 Share Posted May 11, 2007 Ok, a simple request(It should be simple to make for you úbers out there) Take the rakatan mind prison map (that white map) and on one side you put 50 republic troopers and 10 jedi masters and on the other side 50 sith troopers and 10 sith lords. When you enter the area you will be asked if you wish to fight with the sith or the republic. If you say the sith the republic will turn into enemies and the sith and you will have to fight them. If you say that you want to fight with the republic the sith will turn into enemies. Got it? Now could someone do this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SpN Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 wow this sounds like a good mod too bad no one has replied =( sounds easy tho just use dialogue and spawn the dudes, another good war mod would be to use malachor V and play in the mandalorian wars, add Malachor V to the map at any time in the game and there are 100 mandalorians at one side and 50 republic and 50 jedi at the other, when you enter you get a choice to fight with the republic/jedi and the mandalorians, if you choose the mandalorians you get a mandalorian blaster,mandalorian armour and 30 frag grenades and you can become leader of thee mandalorians or just be a normal solider and if you choose republic another dialoge option comes up if you want to be a jedi or a republic solider if you choose republic solider you just fight like a normal solider with republic armour and a blaster rifle and 30 frag grenades and if you choose to be a jedi you become a jedi with a lightsaber colour of your choice and and a master jedi robe. The KOTOR game engine isn't made to handle massive amounts of NPCs in the same area. If you have 100 NPCs running combat AI in an area the game will turn into a slide show, where you could count the frame rate in Seconds Per Frame rather than Frames Per Second. Performance could be helped somewhat by making all the combatants mindless drones without any AI scripts of their own, and then have a single central AI that controls the whole battle, but it would still be unplayably slow. The thing that the team (Temporarily called team firaxa) are working at will be apart of our storyline mod. You will have different "flashbacks" trough the mod that you will have to play trough. One of them is where you're from. One of the answers is Deralia. Quit a funny dialogue though. You can actually claim to be a Hutt lord that plans to take over the galaxy. "I'm a Hutt.
