Heart of the Legacy

Lyna decided to turn on the holoscreen on the wall in front of her. When she turned it on, something shocking caught her eyes while looking at the screen.

She turned it off, and ran towards where Cade slept at. She burst through the slide door. "Cade! I'm sorry to burst in like this, but you gotta see something!" Lyna turned on the holoscreen on the wall. She then sat on the bed with Cade, watching the news.

A male Bith reporter began the news. A picture of Darth Krayt was shown on the screen wall beside the Bith. "We have breaking news, people of Coruscant and people of our faithful Galaxy! Lord Krayt, Emperor of the Galaxy, is dead."

Suddenly, it showed the pictures of... her and Cade! "It was said that these two young people, Cade Skywalker and Lyna Honso, terminated him." It finally showed Nihl's picture. "But now... Lord Nihl, follower of Krayt, is now the new Emperor."

When the picture faded back into HNN logo, the Bith spoke again. "Will the Galaxy be in disaster again? Or will these two brave young heroes step up again? This is Gor Jem on HoloNet News of Coruscant."

Lyna turned off the holoscreen with the remote, speechless.

After viewing that, Cade confimred the accuracy of the dream must have been true. He whistled. "Looks like the Imp-Media is on our side. They sure are gonna get their ass kicked by the sith..."

"Did you guys have a bad nightmare too? The thing is I don't think it is a dream or a nightmare."

"Yeah, I had something like that too... I felt both your presence through the force!"

He turned from the screen. "We must act quickly... this must end today!"

((Hey, PK? I have an idea. Could Cade and Lyna argue about this? This could be their first arguement. Just a thought.))

Lyna continued to stare at the screen with concerned eyes. So... the vision was true! Nihl had actually became the new Emperor of the Galaxy! This was not good.

Then she heard Cade's suggestion. "We must act quickly... this must end today!" Lyna shot up from the bed angrily.

"Are you kidding me?! By now, the Sith are probably looking for us! There must be thousands of them looking for us now!" Lyna shook her head. "Uh-uh. No, we gotta get off of Coruscant ASAP!"

She crossed her arms stubbornly, glaring at Cade and Ganner. The others were still in the lobby, but the only three in the room were Cade, Ganner, and her.

(( ^ aw yeah!))

Cade was quite suprised with Lyna's little snap at towards Cade and Ganner. This wasn't like Lyna at all...

"And run away in our own cowardice? Lyna, we must make a stand." Cade added to the argument. "No more running! We must fight! Its the only way to end this..."

He turned his back on her, crossed his arms. "Even if we somehow manage to escape Coruscant, just where exactly do you plan on going to, huh?"

Lyna continued to narrow her eyes at Cade. She tried to cool herself down as usual, but she was too upset at what Cade had said.

"I don't know yet, Cade! But we can't fight all those Sith! Not now! We need more time to think of a plan on how to stop them! And I'm not gonna risk anymore lives, because of us! The Jedi!"

She angrily turned around, trying her best not to show tears.

"At least your father was probably smart enough not to jump into conclusions! Probably smart enough not to fall for the Dark Side!"

Lyna tried her best not to let anger take over her... but deep inside, she didn't want anyone else in danger. And she wasn't going to let that happen.

Ganner took takes at the two as they argued. "I'm really sorry Lyna, but Cade has a point. If we don't act now, with the chance we have right now, we couldn't stop the spread of the Sith dead in its tracks. If we go and hide it'll just grow. Meaning nowhere for us to hide. I say kill the sand person as its got its head turned away."

Cade glanced at Ganner to hear his side of the argument. "There, see? At least someone here understands our situation."

He turned around to face Lyna. "If there is a time and place to plan a stradegy Lyna, its here. The sith don't know we're here... yet."

Cade could feel Lyna's struggle with the anger brewing inside of her. "And I know you may have a right to be angry. But even though it may not be my place to say this, its a path you may not wanna follow. I now understand the dangers of the darkside!"

Lyna stared at both Cade and Ganner. Guess he won the argument. She calmed down, but was still upset. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She really wanted to tell him why she didn't want to face the Sith again...

"You know... I had a vision... that I saw a woman, sitting on a rock, with her baby in her arms. It was a boy, wrapped in blue blanket. They were in a beautiful green grassland. Then, a man came up to them. He looked like the husband. Their family were so happy together."

The young woman looked up into Cade's eyes. "Do you know who that woman was, Cade? Do you know who that man was? But I know... I know that baby was a Skywalker..."

And with that, Lyna cried, and ran back into her room. She cried alone on the bed with the slide door shut.

Ganner glanced at Cade. "Not to be harsh or anything but that green grassland won't happen unless the Sith are stopped And I want to stop more than you do. I actually feel the way she does but I'm willing to go down if the Sith go down."

He walked to the door, and looked back at Cade, "I'm not trying to pressure you but it's your choice. You can stay or help me."

"I'm not trying to pressure you but it's your choice. You can stay or help me."

"I will help you, friend. But at least gather your strength and wait for me with the others..."

He looked back at the closed room Lyna had entered. He entered it and saw Lyna sobbing on the bed. Cade sat beside her.

"Not in the mood for talking, huh?"

"Not in the mood for talking, huh?"

Lyna's head slowly looked up from the pillow. She then glanced at Cade, with tears stained on her cheeks. She sniffed, and sat up on the bed, looking down with her eyes closed.

"I'm... I'm sorry, Cade. It's just that... I never burst out like that. That's not me. I just don't want anyone to get hurt." Lyna looked up at Cade.

Then she sighed. "Cade, I'm really sorry. I just want my vision to happen. I just want the future to be in peace..." She wiped her eyes.

Cade hung his head down. He chuckled. "To be honest, I'm not quite sure I'd cut out to be a father... yet."

He stood up. "But together, there is a chance we can furfill a future of peace and riddance of these Sith scum!" he glanced down at her. "What say you?"

He grabbed her hand and pulled her from the bed.

((I couldn't wait to tell you, PK, but... did you know that this RP is like a prequel to my fanfic "Never Blind in the Force"? Cool, huh? :D ))

When Lyna stood up from the bed, she stood close to Cade, and looked into his eyes. Everything scared her, and she wanted to get rid of the Sith as much as Cade did.

She sighed, and glanced down. "You're right, Cade. We must stop the Sith if we want the Galaxy to be at peace." She looked up at Cade again, and smiled, with sadness in her eyes. "Only the future holds the answer for us all..."

Lyna rubbed her neck nervously. Then she wanted to ask him one question. "Cade? Do you think... we're gonna win this fight?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cyan slept in the basket with her five little binjinphants. She thought about what the future might be like, and how things would go if those Sith were destroyed.

She snuggled around her binjinphants, protecting them, while the Jedi Healer kept watch for everything on the Jedi Shuttle.

(( yeah, I kinda figured it out myself ever since you brought up that vision-thingy. Yeah, its sounds kinda kewl))

"Cade? Do you think... we're gonna win this fight?"

Cade pondered. "I don't know... Not even I could hold answers to such things, which is why we need to form a plan."

He too looked into her eyes. Cade smiled as he kissed her. "I think we should get moving..."

((I've always wondered... is Cade pronounced as "sade" or "kade"?))

((Yep. It's pronounced as "kade".))

Lyna smiled timidly after Cade kissed her. "Yeah. C'mon. Let's see what the others are up to..." Lyna walked into the lobby, along with Cade. But as soon as she got there, the male Besalisk innkeeper glared down at a six-year-old looking girl.

"I told you, girl, no free room services. Now go!" the innkeeper told her.

The little girl responded, "But... but I just wanna stay awhile--"

The innkeeper grew more angry. "Girl, if you don't get outta here, I'll--"

Lyna couldn't take it no more, and stepped forward to help the child. "Sir, please. Here's a few creds for the little girl." The innkeeper took the credits. Then he grumbled, letting the girl stay.

Lyna guided the little girl to where the group was. Then the child sat down at the table. She looked up. She was a young Miraluka, wearing torn green robes with a hood on her head. She had a white blindfold on her eyes. "Thank you, ma'am," the little girl said.

Lyna smiled. "You're welcome, little one. No one should be treated wrongly.

The female Jedi Healer stood up, and bowed to Ganner.

"Yes, Master Krieg. Everything's ready."

He watched the girl bow and hated being higher up than those others equal to him, but only with a different title. "No need to bow I'm not the master. I'm just one of the mere jedi's along with the ride. I'm no more stronger than you are."

Ganner would rather everyone be equal but knew it would never be. Now that he thought about it he was somewhat a socialist. He didn't like the idea and shook away the thought. "Anyway, I'm sorry if I forgot it, but what was your name again?" He asked the girl, who seemed around his age.

((huh... Is that so? I always thought it was "sade"... welp, looks like i'm gonna ahev to adapt to this new compelling discovery :dozey: ))

"Yeah, especially when they're a six-year old girl..." Kade added, as he eyed the Besalisk. Then he looked about the area they were in.

"Where is Ganner and the others?"

((Sorry about that, PK. Meant to say it sounded like "Kade" but his real name is "Cade". ))

Lyna also glanced around. "Hm. They must be going to the Jedi Shuttle already. C'mon." When she was about to walk out, Lyna looked back at the little girl. She turned to her, and placed a gentle hand on the child's shoulder.

"Little one? What's your name?" Lyna asked. The young Miraluka, who was eating quietly, looked up at Lyna's direction.

She answered with a calm voice, "Um... Yolina. Yolina Sho."

Lyna smiled. "That's a beautiful name. I can see that you're an orphan... I was wondering... would you like to come with us? I wouldn't want to leave you here in such a awful place like the Underworld."

Yolina thought about it. Then she replied, "It's okay. I live with my foster parents around the corner. They're really kind to me. Sometimes I need some alone time, ya know? But thank you anyway." She smiled warmly, and continued to eat.

Lyna sadly stared at the girl. "Um... okay. Take care of yourself. And may the Force be with you..."

As Lyna began to walk out of the lobby, she looked back at the girl. "Cade? Do you think we should take her with us anyway? She kinda remind me of... myself, when I was little."

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Jedi Healer glanced down. She had red hair, hazel eyes, and wore a blue and white sweater with blue pants and brown boots. She was about 22 years old.

The young woman glanced back up at Ganner. "Ana Jorie. And I'm sorry about bowing to you... and calling you Master. It's just that... ever since I lost my first Master, things haven't been going so well for me. He was a very kind Bothan..."

((Guess who the Bothan is... ;) ))

((Yeah, I knew what you meant. I did it as a joke  ))

"Cade? Do you think we should take her with us anyway? She kinda remind me of... myself, when I was little."

"Er, you know... she does have a foster family. I'm not sure they'll be too happy if we abducted their little girl. Besides..." Cade glanced down at Lyna. "I don't think we wanna get her involved with our little campaign against the sith..."

((Oh! Good one, PK. And JA... the Bothan wasn't in one of my stories. He's actually...))

Ana glanced down sadly. "His name was Hosk Trey'lis. He taught me the ways of healing through the Force. When we had a bond together, I felt his death through the Force. It was like my own heart torn apart. I don't know who killed him... but I really miss him."

The young woman wiped a tear from her eye.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lyna brushed a strand of hair from her face, and crossed her arms, looking down. "Yeah. You're right, Cade. We can't involve an innocent child in battle with us. We also can't take her from her family neither."

As they walked down the street to the Jedi Shuttle, Lyna looked up sadly. "I hope we get out of Coruscant soon. Although... I haven't been in my homeworld for a long time. Makes me think of mom and dad." She sighed.

"Hosk Trey'lis? Are you joking me? Who all knows about this?" He calmed himself down a bit, and thought.

"I wouldn't leak that out to too much people, unless they know. You might be him again if Darth Nihl or Maladi((if shes alive still)). You may end up like him. ((Not knowing he died one with the force.))"
