Fredi Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 Well I instaled Jedi Knight:Jedi Academy right now and when I finished installing and presed start to play as story mode this appears to me >> ERROR: filename length > MAX_QPATH ( strlen(sound/weapons/more-sounds/even more sounds/sound/weapons/blaster/) = 65) Dose any one know WHast happening and if theres a way to fix it? Gothik Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 If you've got any custom pk3 files in the base directory, remove them and try running the game again. The error means that the path to the folder it is looking for a particular sound in is too long, I'm not sure what the character length is but the one it quotes is too long. And since that particular path is nowhere to be found in the the base game assetts pk3 files, it must be a custom one. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
