Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, Korriban

It's what Wookieepedia's articles assume is the order the player chooses.

I think it's the recommended order in terms of overall difficulty and story progression.

It makes the most practical sense because the final two party members are on Tatooine and Kashyyyk so they should be first anyway, and also because you can't take Bastila on Korriban, yet if you save it for last, she's not with you anyway.

It makes more sense to me for the Leviathan to capture you when leaving Manaan as it would be no surprise for a Sith Interdictor to be in that system, whereas it wouldn't make sense for it to be at Tatooine or Kashyyyk without attracting unwanted attention.

It's also the order Bastila lists them in the "revelation" scene....I think?

Actually, Tatooine and Kashyyyk are both Sith worlds.

1) I do Kashyyyk first, to pick up Jolee. That and its the easiest one IMO

2) Then Tatooine, to complete just about everybodys´ side quest (Mission, Canderous, Bastila) O.K so theres only three, but you get my point.

3) Then Manaan- save my favorite for last.

4) Korriban - its the hardest one plus it just seems to fit in the storyline like that that and Bastila is already gone soit makes no difference if she can set foot on Korriban anyway.

Ascendant_Justice gave a good explaination, though Kashyyyk and Tatooine can be switched without much of an issue really. True, Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, Korriban, is the order Basty lists them in...I just prefer to pick up Jolee before HK. I would argue that Kashyyyk is easier than Tatooine despite what anybody says though...

Really as long as you don´t do Korriban first, you´ll be fine. ;) Its very hard if you do it first, and makes it impossible to complete Carth´s sidequest.

Yea, actually, I did find those darn Sand People rather irritating.

While Tatooine and Kashyyyk are Czerka controlled, and they are allied with the Sith, there still is no Sith military presence on either planet. Consider the fact that the Leviathan is the flagship of the Sith fleet with two very high-value targets on it, making it very vulnerable to be completely alone. To send the Leviathan to Tatooine or Kashyyyk would mean it would have no forces on standby to help it if it were to come under another Republic strike similar to Bastila's strike on Revan's ship. I think the only way the Leviathan can safely travel is within, or close to, a Sith fleet presence, such as in the Manaan system. Even if the Leviathan were to be escorted to Tatooine or Kashyyyk, the Republic could still be desperate enough to mount a strike. I don't see Malak taking the chance.

Manaan just seems like the safest place for the Leviathan to abduct the Ebon Hawk, to me. It can remain relatively isolated, rip the Hawk out of hyperspace, and not need to fear Republic fleet intervention because the Republic wouldn't dare try anything even remotely near the Manaan system.

True :\. It's definitely not in orbit above the planet, but I always assumed it was close to whatever planet you were leaving. It's not like Malak knew where you were going. You could have been going to Yavin station, not necessarily the last star map planet, so I figured he ripped you out of hyperspace pretty darn soon after entering it, just far enough away to be "alone".

No way of knowing I suppose. :(

Meh.

Kashyyyk, Tatooine, Korriban, Manaan. (Last two interchangibly)

Kashyyyk is always first, as Jolee is my favorite character in the first one, then Tatooine to do those pesky character missions. The reason why for Korriban to be third, instead of last, is I like bringing Bastila with me. It also is largely depended on whether or not I feel like it.

What do you mean "bringing Bastila with you"? Is there a mod that changes whether or not she stays behind... I do remember something like that in youtube.

I always do Korriban last to ensure Yuthura doesn't leave the sith until after Dantoinne was destroyed. I have no doubt that Revan went to Korriban last, so she didn't die in the attack in the canical version.

I do Tatooine, than Manaan, Kashyyyk, and last Korriban. Tatooine first cause I like HK and Calo is at his easiest there, Manaan cause I typically do the bounty hunter's guild with the long weird names missions, then Kashyyyk, and lastly Korriban so I can have my jedi entourage without Bastilla.

Although sometimes I switch Manaan and Kashyyyk cause I feel like it. And sometimes I just go to Tatooine long enough to get HK than, I leave. It all depends on my mood though....

I always tend to do Korriban, Tattooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan.

Because Korriban is interesting, whereas Manaan just bores the hell outta' me. :xp:

Yeah, I like Korriban the most. It just seems like you're a pilgrim in an unholy land, but it's interesting to have so much conflict in one place. Manaan is so neutral that they're evil. Tatoinne is just full of sandpeople who I want to hate, but who were victims long before Czerka came around. I just don't like large expanses of nothingness. Korriban is packed with challenges.

very true.

That's why I prefer K1 to K2 - K2 had SO many dead places. There was Dantooine, Korriban, Peragus... and Dxun was pretty plain, too.

Couldn't even go in the tombs in the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban in K2 (best part for me in K1 about Korriban)...all you need to do is the Sith Academy, which takes like a whopping 15 minutes maybe (if that even), and then you can leave. Shyrack Cave is completely optional I think...although it's good for XP.

:disaprove Manaan is my favorite planet! I love the political neutrality the Selkath demand. It was refreshing to see that, with all the squabbles between the Republic and the Sith Empire, there was something separate that commanded authority over both of them. The tension, sans war, was a clever addition that I enjoyed. Besides, the whole planet is an ocean. How can you not love staring out over the side of Ahto City? Heck, Ahto City is the only real city in the game after Taris. That pathetic Anchorhead is nothing.

It's too bad everything about Manaan became obsolete, including the Selkath's intelligence, once Bacta emerged on the scene :\.

Also, who can forget "Nooooooo! I'm invincible!!" It's like Boris from Goldeneye :D
