ChAiNz.2da Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 NICASIO, California (AP) -- George Lucas says he's already identified the one person who can keep the "Indiana Jones" franchise going: Harrison Ford. Source Relieving news (imo), plus some tidbits on the on-going StarWars franchise
Ztalker Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Hmmm...the last movie was suggesting that 'Mut' would take on the role of adventurous archaeologist. It's good to see they keep it this way. Indiana Jones = Harrison Ford.
MacTavish Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 ^I'm tempted to photoshop the lamb angel's head with Harrison Ford and the rabbit with George Lucas.

Char Ell Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 "I like when you focus on making movies, you make movies and people go to see them," he said. "But there's this whole other industry that's been created which the world hasn't quite adjusted to or caught up to or figured out. It's the same thing with copyright and all kinds of other things where things are going around that I'm sure at some point will become more civilized. I'm just waiting. Like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, I'll go out and adopt twins if they'll pay me $14 million to do it." Does anybody understand what GL is talking about here? I mean, what does Brangelina selling the first pics of their newborn twins for $14 million have to do with copyrights and making films?
tk102 Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Something about the downside of mass media and its effects. For instance CNN highlighted George's inability to articulate himself. I guess he hasn't quite adjusted to or caught up to or figured it out. I'm just waiting.
EnderWiggin Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Good to hear, especially to a Ford-fanboy like myself. _EW
Jeff Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 "If Indiana Jones wasn't in it, you'd have to call it 'Mutt Williams and the search for Elvis.' ... "Yeah, it's 'Mutt Williams and the Search for Elvis.' "Spinoff?
The Doctor Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Damn right. Indy without Ford is like... like... there's just nothing comparable to the idea. :\
