Council of the Old Republic

This is a roleplay series concerning the Jedi Council of the Old Republic, and the ways they deal with those Jedi training underneath them. Here's the 411:

Each person will control two characters:

1. A canon character from the Jedi Council of the Old Republic (e.g. Vrook)

2. A PC Jedi character, generically called Jedi X, that they themselves create

This PC Jedi will have an official name, and also an archetype name. Here's my character sheet just to show you how to set this up if it's confusing:

Jedi Council Member: I'll be roleplaying Master Kavar.

"Jedi X" Character: Vtorym G'stalt, known as The Beloved (archetype)

Race: 3/4 Human, 1/4 Echani (she can do Echani Strike I and II)

Appearance: Dark Side Handmaiden, though she isn't Dark Side

Equipment: Two enhanced lightsabers, color to be determined later.

Age: 35 (She's been a Knight for years and only now fallen in LUV!)

Jedi Council Member: Zez-Kai Ell

"Jedi X" Character: Cereban Xenal, known as The Intellect

Race: Twi'lek male

Appearance: Light purple skin, lavender eyes, handsome facial features, wears grey tunic with black leather arm-bands that cover everything but his fingers, black boots, black belt, and a black robe without the sleeves. Usually wears his lekku wrapped around his neck neatly.

Equipment: A single-bladed purple lightsaber.

Age: 18

Personality: Though he is typically a very mild-mannered, quiet individual, he is prone to anger and has some violent tendencies, but at his base temperament, he sports a keen, probing intellect and a false amiability used to get what he wants. The rebellious youth tends to ignore the morals or ethics of the Order, and does what he must to achieve his own ends while misleadingly placating any Council members who would deterr him on his quest for knowledge.

History: Cereban entered the galaxy on his home planet, Ryloth. Though his mother died in childbirth, his father, a senator in the galactic republic, raised him well. The young Twi'lek never knew a day of sadness, and it was soon evident that his intellect far outstripped those of his age, as his thirst to understand everything could be seen even then. When he began reading holo-novels well before other children, his father took him before the Jedi council. The masters sensed immediately his affinity for the force, and enrolled Cereban as their padawan, with his father's consent.

In the following years, the Twi'lek padawan distanced himself further and further from his peers. Choosing less physical pursuits than the guardians, and neglecting the well-rounded attitudes of the sentinels, he instead opted for the arduous learning of a Jedi Consular, though, even in that circle of intellectuals, he was considered somewhat unorthodox by his fellow canditates for knighthood. He studied constantly, sometimes neglecting his saber practice to instead hone his prowess in the force, and learn new techniques to harness the subtleties of its energy. He was soon the utmost authority on force control within his class, his ability with persuasion and physical manipulations coming close to that of the Masters'. However, his discipline was lacking, and his inability to control his need to learn made those around him, especially his own master, very uncomfortable. Nonetheless, he passed his trials with flying colours, and was promoted to the rank of knight.

Jedi Master: Lonna Vash

Character: Samuel Nevar ( Finally a new name!!), The Bloodied.

Race: Human.

Appearence: Blond hair, blue eyes, tall muscular build.

Equipment: A Cyan Lightsaber x2, a Mandalorian Heavy Pistol.

Age: 25

Personality: Very talkative, but will sometimes just sit and stare for an hour or so. He only fights because he needs to, which happens to be alot!

History: Sam was born on Coruscant, the Jedi found him at a young age. He was chosen just a little too late, he had already been exposed to violence and crime. He holds it back alot, often by channeling his feeling through meditation and just thinking alot, but he has gotten into fights. Mostly with gangs, where he could let his feelings go.

Okay, this looks fun:D

Jedi Council Member: Master Dorak, Jedi Archivist

Jedi 'X' Character: Jerek Kerent aka 'The Soldier'

Race: Human

Appearance: 6'6' with dark hair, brown eyes, sharp-featured face, and a scar that goes from his forehead to his right eye. He usually wears black Jedi robes and a Mandalorian facemask. He wears standard combat boots and is physically menacing, seeing as he is extremely muscular and much taller then everyone else. He has a black glove on his right hand, nobody knows why.

Equipment: Blue and red lightsabers, though he often uses the red lightsabers, despite what the Council has to say on lightsaber etiquette. He also has a combat knife in his sleeve, and a first aid kit under his boot. He always carries a pack of supplies, always prepared.

Age: 35 {He's been a knight for awhile, but can seem very disgruntled at times}

History: Jerek Kerent was born a Mandalorian, but he was taken by the Jedi in his early years. He trained well from the start, showing a keen interest in combat. Eventually, he became disappointed by the Jedi's policies to war, believing that they moved to slowly to solve problems. He therefore began solving them himself, helping numerous revolutions and rebellions on many worlds. He was well known in the galactic community as a 'Patriot' of sorts, though the Council frowned often on his behaviour. Due to fighting so many wars, he can seem very rough and hard to get to know. He voices his opinions, as disgruntled as they may be, and is doubtful of any of the Council's decisions. He is definatley not an example of what a Jedi Knight should be. He himself fears that he has fallen too far.

Jedi Council Member: Master Aleco Stusea

Jedi 'X' Character: Sev Kershaw

Race: Human

Appearance: Jedi_Knight_by_Surfurdude.jpg

Equipment:

x1 Single Bladed Lightsaber--Blue

Age: 27

History: Sev's father vanished several month's before his birth, during which his mother died of some unknown disease. Born as an orphan, he was taken in by a random bar owner until the age of four. One day a paticulary shadowy figure happened upon the bar and his guardian dropped dead without so much as the movement of a hand.

From there forward's he was taken in by the Jedi and brought up to be a Jedi Knight. He accepted the role forced upon him with ease, but oft was quiet and shadowy. Beyond the appearance Sev is a skilled practicer of Soresu, otherwise known as Form IV and an adept force user.

Jedi Council Member: ??? is there anyone left?

"Jedi X" Character: Triko Tano, known as The Outcast. Jedi master is Kavar

Race: Rodian male

Appearance: Typical Rodian height and build, although he has a red skin pigmentation as a result of a genetic abnormality. He choses to wear the KoToR jedi robe although with gloves removed to allow his hands to fit.

jedirodianbattle.th.jpgjedirodianpeacefuln.th.jpg

Equipment: A single Tonfa Light saber with Green crystal will also use other weapons such as a Vibroblade.

Age: 23

Personality: Triko Tano is very much a loner being one of a small number of Rodian Jedi in the order at the time, despite his Rodian lineage he doesn't love fighting and will avoid fighting until it is absolutly nessasary, he can speak basic although with a slight lisp (prononcing 's' as 'ss') when frustrated he will return to speaking Rodese or Huttese.

History: Taken by the Jedi from a young age he managed to avoid much of the bloodshed and violence of everyday life on Rodia, instead being taught about ethics and knowledge although teased by some of the Padawans and Younglings in the order due to his skin colour and appearance he never resorted to violence instead studing and becoming stronger.

He was promoted first to Padawan and then Knight at quite a young age much to the chagrin of the people who had teased him he strives to be a balance between Consular and Guardian. He trains physically and metally daily always by himself much to Master Kavar's annoyance and plea's to interact with people more.
