Your Favorite Line In A Song

Recommended Posts

If I could I would shrink myself and sink through your skin to your blood cells, and remove whatever makes you hurt - but I am too weak to be your cure.

Brand New - Guernica

^ The lead singer, Jesse Lacey, is the best lyric writer I've ever seen. I had a really hard time choosing one...

But, but... what about Bob Dylan. ;_;

I prefer Lacey's lyrics as he uses clever analogies and often go into topics I can relate to better. In the underground punk scene, Brand New is quite well known for their well-written lyrics.

Yep... No one contends with Mr. Zimmerman in terms of lyrics.

Personally, I think he's met his match.

No.... No, no..... YOU have lost! *Shoots lightning at you*

No, but seriously, I'm just saying that Bob Dylan's influence reaches farther than any other artist in terms of lyrics. He's not even my favorite lyricist. But his universal influence is pretty factastic... Factastic... I should write that down...

"One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces"

Mostly because it's the only line in the whole song. :)

I think they could be committed for singing like that.

No one I think is in my tree

I mean it must be high or low

That is you can't you know tune in but it's all right

That is I think it's not too bad.

(****, I just realized I still have that lyric in my location...well...guess that proves I still like the song.)

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game

It's easy.

There's nothing you can make that can't be made.

No one you can save that can't be saved.

Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you

in time

It's easy.
