edlib Posted June 21, 2010 Share Posted June 21, 2010 It's what was on the house when I got it. I think it's a New England thing... most of the older houses around here have it. I like it better than Vinyl or Aluminum siding... so I'd like to keep the existing look intact. And this paint job, (though fairly expensive,) comes in far less than any of the several estimates I've gotten for siding over the years. I used to work for a home inspection company so I've been able to see a lot of the typical houses from most areas of the country.
