Never caught up with Nitro... but in our communications, he promised to login sometime soon and update everybody about his whereabouts and activities. Been goofing around a bit on the Playstation Home... their 2nd Life wannabe virtual world. Kinda goofy. Most of the time I've walked around with an avatar that looks like me... but this morning I tried an experiment, and made an attractive female avatar. I couldn't walk 3 feet without a crowd of guys falling all over each other to try to chat with me. It was hilarious getting so many date offers from horny 14-year old guys. So many friend requests all at once... More than the whole time I've owned the PS3. Most of them even chose not to believe me when I told them that I was really a dude in real life... so for purposes of argument, I might just be a 25 year old office worker from Worcester named Joss, who likes to travel, camp, and hike. Now to work on the inside and get that to the same level... which will be tough to do for a while... A.) Out of money. B.) Stupid heat and humidity makes it almost impossible to move around without wanting to die. Tried to sleep in this morning... no dice. Too damn hot. A/C going in this weekend, for sure! Went down stairs and ended talking to my landlord/sisters BF about his travels in europe, and had a jack and coke. I think it was jack, didn't smell or taste like jack, but it was damned tastey. and there's a futbol match tomorrow morning, Republic of Korea V Uraguay. good times though. I picked her up at her hotel, we were both dressed nicely, and I bought her dinner at a restaurant that we just randomly picked that turned out to be actually really fancy. It was the closest thing to a date I've had in 10 years. Not that I want to date this girl, but it was kind of like, "Oh yeah...that's what that was like..." But I've decided on a perfectly reasonable solution... I will henceforth lie about my age! From now on, when the subject of my age comes up, I will look them straight in the eye and say that I am... 9! (Not 39, mind you... 9, going on 10.
