The Whispered World English Demo available

Just found out a playable demo of the eagerly awaited The Whispered World is now available for download at 600mb in size. The full game has been out in Germany since last year but it finally hits the rest of Europe on April 23rd and the US on April 26th, also it will be out on digital distribution sites the same day as the US release.

Kroms is very excited just now. I'll have to grab this demo next week and play it on lunch break (my PC died) but it'll be interesting to see how good this is.

I'm probably not going to play the demo and just buy the full game. I'm expecting it to be good, but I could very well be taking a risk though.

Excellent sample. Puzzles seemed a bit simple, but that's probably just because it's the early game. There were a few editing errors, but the voice acting is top notch. Definite first day purchase, highly anticipated. Finally we can get good adventure games again.

Will The Whispered World be discussed in the next MojoCast whenever the next episode is released especially with Sam & Max The Devils Playhouse out now as well?

My copy of the Whispered World has just arrived from GAME, it doesn't come with the 12 side dice DRM stuff that was in the German version, it appears there's no DRM type feature whatsoever just the DVD and the manual not even a CD-Key.

That's funny to hear, because while I don't want to mess with copy protection in general, I think having that die would be cool.
