First steps to become an Alliance Pilot

So, I've downloaded the trial, and I'm now updating. I've played the trial some years ago and I know there are those first quests for Han on Tansarii Station. But after that, what should be my first steps to become an Alliance Pilot?

Nevermind, I already got in the Alliance and I'm doing some pilot missions, but is it possible to have a "Z-95" intead of the default "Scyk"?

Yes it is. But I am not sure as to if you get it via a quest reward or if you have to buy it

Just destroy the Scyk device in your datapad and they will issue you a Z-95.

Yes, you can buy Mark I blasters made my a shipwright and they have different colors.

Oh, I was talking about ranged weapons like carbines, pistols, rifles, etc...

Those are hit and miss. Usually, the color represents the elemental damage type inflicted. For example, the HK Disruptor from Mustafar is green because it shoots acid. You'll have to ask a gunsmith about the different colors he can make.
