Considering playing SWG. Have some questions

Hello to all. few years ago I wanted to play SWG so I was searching for some info about the game. It was right after some CU got changed and the way jedis could be created. a lot of people were dissatisfied. They said teh new combat was terrible and the profession system was too complicated.

Now I am back again, I have some questions I hope you guys can help me out..

1 - what do you guys think about the game in general?

2 - how is jedi/sith creation at this point?

3 - how hard is leveling and whats the level cap?

4 - what about professions? are they fun and simpler now?

5 - how is game (class) balance ? is it good?

6 - is there any pvp? is it outdoor or arena/battleground?

7 - is the game gear-based (more gear more power after max level, goal is to get more and better gear)?

8 - are there any instance for groups (or solo)?

9 - any last considerations for someone who wants to come over?

sorry about all the questions, I'm just too curious... and thanks for the attention

1 - what do you guys think about the game in general?

Good and stable.

2 - how is jedi/sith creation at this point?

Jedi is a starting class. Although, obviously you don't get a lightsaber right away. And is also not true that the Jedi are an overpowered class.

3 - how hard is leveling and whats the level cap?

I don't consider it to be hard, but it gets harder as you level up. That's pretty common on most games, in my opinion.

4 - what about professions? are they fun and simpler now?

Yes, there is a great variety and "do what you want" feel.

5 - how is game (class) balance ? is it good?

I consider it very good and varied, while compared to other MMO's. There is one for each taste.

6 - is there any pvp? is it outdoor or arena/battleground?

There is PvP, and it is outdoors or in a battlefield. You choose.

And space PvP is the best thing ever. :p

8 - are there any instance for groups (or solo)?

There are, and you need a group to complete them.

9 - any last considerations for someone who wants to come over?

Try the trial. The community is very helpful. Any doubts, go to the official forums.
