Reverse engineering Rogue Squadron 3D

Hi guys, I'm working on reverse-engineering the data files from the game in hope that something good will come out of it. I was able to decode most of the image formats, each level's terrain and most of the 3D objects from the game.

My notes are at http://satd.sk/web/rs ; now and then I upload some images or video related to progress. Code for the tools I use is at https://github.com/dpethes/rerogue .

With some more effort, updating the 3D models should be possible (within some limitations of course). This is probably as far as one can get without having the game's source code.

Any help or useful ideas welcome.
