What time on Monday?

ThunderPeel2001

Does anyone know what time on Monday we should all be expecting ReMI to drop? Will it be a global drop, or will it roll out across time zones? And what about different platforms? Will Switch be different to Steam?

What do we know? What don't we know?

CONFIRMED: BOTH STEAM AND SWITCH ARE...

Los Angeles (PDT) - 9am

Houston (CDT) - 11am

New York (EDT) - 12pm

London (BST) - 5pm

Berlin (CEST) - 6pm

Sydney (AEST) - 2am (Tues 20th September)

Morning Pacific time, since people who are ~13, 14 hours ahead of Seattle at 10 am have had their release dates updated to September 20. Don't quote me on that, though.

Is that true? If so, that definitely backs up the morning PDT theory.

Here's some times based on that:

Los Angeles (PDT) - 8am

Houston (CDT) - 10am

New York (EDT) - 11am

London (BST) - 4pm

Berlin (CEST) - 5pm

Seems goddamn cruel to make me wait until 4pm, but it seems likely!

I'm not looking forward to people immediately tweeting at the devs on midnight "WHERE'S THE GAME?!"

Should we start sooner? 🤔

Yeah, I would very much prefer them to break the Monkey Monday pattern and just release at 12am EST and maybe 11 am EST can be like a launch trailer or something. Either way, just a few more days!

Those are two very different times? (Also releasing 12am EDT would mean 9pm PDT the previous day (Sunday), so not too likely, unfortunately.)

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath either (at least not for 10 minutes) - many games use that schedule, so I had very small hope that maybe it would be same in this instance as well. Either way, it's mere hours at that point, after years and years of not even thinking this game would ever happen.

in asia-pacific time zones (including Australia and New Zealand), the release date on Steam is shown as the 20th.

Sometimes, on Switch, you can play a game a few hours earlier if you set your country to Australia or New Zealand or another GMT+11 timezone. I've seen people online saying its worked for first party Nintendo titles in the past, but I can't guarantee it'll work here. I've also never personally tried it, because I've never been keen enough on a switch game to want it ASAP + I already live in Australia, so my switch country is already there.

From the Nintendo UK site:

Content will usually be available at 14:00 GMT (15:00 CET) on the day of release.

  • Please note: some third-party titles may not be not available until 17:00 GMT (18:00 CET) on the game’s release date.

So my guess is 9am PT / 5pm BST. Which seriously sucks, because in the UK we're all off work that day and everything's going to be shut.
