Ahem, I think that we're all forgetting the coolest and best superheros of all time:

X-Men. Those guys could beat all of the rest of them.

X-Men are a cool team, but by now the comics are so complicated that it's impossible to follow anything. Besides, the movie version's cooler.

Don't diss the JLA when I'm around, or Young Justice either, dudes.

WONDER GIRL: Oh, that can't be good.

IMPULSE: Y'know, we say that a lot. It should be, like, our motto or something.

Young Justice rules. cool.gif

Haven't the X-Men been killed of like a dozen times already?

Besides, Batman could kick all there butts, with the Tick's help of course!

Geez, I can't believe that I forgot about the most important SuperHeros of all time: The Jedi Knights.

Lets start comparing them to the so far most powerfull hero: Superman. He would have a hard time zapping his eye beams through a lightsaber, or moving fast under a tellekinettic pull, or being able to evade a lightsaber slash. BTW, a lightsaber could in theory cut through the man of steel.

Since Superman was the most powerfull, all the others, including the JLA, would also have to bow to the Jedi.

So, the Jedi are the best, most powerfull heros ever. biggrin.gif Thank You.

Are you kidding me? Superman could wipe wipe the floor with any Jedi.

Please, enlighten me. The Jedi with their super reflexes, could keep pace with super man, and kill him with a lightsaber. If they didn't kill him, its cause he would have flown away like a coward in fear. :p

*sigh*

Are we ignoring the fact that the JLA/X-Men/Jedi wouldn't fight?

(This, BTW, is why I hate universe/crossovers.)

As for Superman being the most powerful: no.

The whole point of the JLA is that, however strong each of these heroes is alone, they're only unstoppable when they work together.

Superman's physical powers would give him an advantage over the Jedi: Although a lightsaber might be able to cut kryptonian flesh, he's physically stronger and faster than a Force-user, as well as being able to fly.

(And before the age-old debate reestablishes itself: JEDI CAN NOT FLY/LEVITATE. They can jump really high/far by using the Force to strengthen leg muscles, but they can't levitate themselves any more than you can pick yourself up by the collar.)

What S-man wouldn't have is a mental advantage: even his newfound torqasm-rao meditative skills are all "Sense" and "Control" based; he can't use them in battle the way a Jedi can use the Force.

The only JLAer who can match mental abilities with a Force-user would be Manhunter (Jonn J'onz), and he only has telepathy.

Batman's intellect would put him on even footing in a fight, but that's because Batman cheats. He would observe what the Jedi do, and conclude (correctly) that they are capable of manipulating an energy field. He would then find a way (assisted by Steel and Manhunter, most likely) to neutralize that energy field (ysalamiri or Force-cages).

Remember that Supes, Wonder Woman, and Manhunter are pretty evenly matched as far as raw strength goes.

Yeah, beastmaster is right. Superman is alot stronger and faster but can't compete when it comes to mental abilities. Thanks for straitening all that out BM. smile.gif

Says Luke Skywalker in . . . uh, one of the Black Fleet Crisis books (I think the second).

It's not just a lever; you also need a place to set it.

It makes sense, really. When you use telekinesis, you move things in relation to yourself. You can't move yourself.

A Jedi Master might be able to "hover" for a few moments, but the concentration would probably give them an aneurism.
