SPY_jmr1 Posted October 24, 2002 Share Posted October 24, 2002 ok, here is the deal. a complaint has been filed about the number of avatar request threads in the swamp. from now on, this will be stickyed, and all other avatar request threads will be locked with a redirect to this thread. off topic posts will be deleted. any mod of the swamp/super mods are requested to enforce this simple rule. ok? cool! ALLRIGHT! you primitive screwhea..... wait that's not right... *ahem* ok, thanks to Andy867 we have some new rules for you guys... enjoy. 1- All avatar makers are to charge NOTHING for their work. That is right, all avatar requests that are accepted will be made FREE of charge. Anyone caught abusing this policy will be dealt with by the Administrators/Moderators promptly. 2- Avatars are to remain clean, as our boards are meant so that all ages may come and post. Any avatars with less-than-appropriate Images/Text/Both will be removed immediately. If the Word Censor would Yank it, It does not Really Belong in a Avatar. 3- Don't spam the Avatar Request thread just because your idea didn't get chosen at first. 4- No bashing/flaming people or their avatar requests. ok? good... Darth Talliusc Posted October 24, 2002 Share Posted October 24, 2002 ok, well ive tried to make this before but it never really worked for me so i was hoping that one of you nice swampies would help me out. in the game of warcraft 3 there is a character called the demonhunter. i have found on a website an animated gif of him attacking, i would love to have this as my own avatar but sadly i cannot properly crop etc and it always looks terrible for me. any attempt whatsoever will be appreciated as i can do no better. it can be seen at http://www.battle.net/war3/nightelf/units/demonhunter.shtml thanks again. If anyone says yes I'll give them some info about it... A suprise would be nice but unlikely. Ideas: 1. Eldar (I can provide pics) in slideshow format with "Wes Marrakesh" as text somewhere 2. A short vid of Solid Snake or Raiden kicking but with "Wes Marrakesh" at the end in text 3. Something using the pic I have now 4. A cool rune or symbol (I have a few ideas there) 5.
