I think they have different colors or soemthing. The original Slave 1 was more green and red. This one was more blue and silver. ;)

No the design was different.the ep5 slave 1 is very ugly compared to the ep2 slave 1.

Hehe, yea, and the irony was they were called "Space" :p

 

I doubt you've seen them Z, the sets I got were old when I got them at age 5...

 

But they were classic toys. :D

I'm about 75% done and this baby is huge. I have no idea where I'm going to put it. Wife said it's not goig in the familyroom. :(

I also have about 25 sets from the space collection series from about 8-9 years ago plusa ton of other ones.

nope, no Leia for me...

 

I have no idea why I never bought the Falcon, I see it all the time on Ebay but last Isaw they were going for $250-270.

 

The ISD is huge, it's more then 3 feet long and about 20 inches wide. It dwarfs my blockade runner.

I hate to move it when I work on for fear it will fall apart as it is hard to find a place to pick it up from.

 

So far it feels like it weighs a good 10 pounds if not more. the instructions book is 224 pages. Last night I got the last of the "decks" put on. I just have to get the bridge/control tower on and I'll be close to done.

 

I have taken a few pictures of it but they aren't developed yet and we have no digital camera. I try to buy some film for an old poloroid camera ad scan in some pictureso I can post them.
