I think it might have been best to send in spies, and assisnate him. Instead of bringing World attention with bombing, trying to rally support from the EU. :tsk:

Oh well, if everything goes wrong, blame Blair and Bush. :p

Stupid thing is, you can't send in assassins to kill him. If Bush sent some in he would be put in jail, but he can send in an Army and kill inocents while trying to get Saddam, and that's ok.

This world is Screwed up.

Stupid World. :(

Maybe there is some 'moles' gaining intelligence from within Saddam's ranks. Hopefully they'll get his ass shortly, and end this war. :)

Well i don't know what to say is it good or bad news?

I'm not absolutely sure but I just heard on a news report that they think he's injured because immediate medical attention has been called on his behalf. It might not be for him though, maybe just for some of his close men or something. I'm not totally sure.

Personally......... I don't think Saddam will get caught... If anything he will pull a Hitler and kill himself. I wouldn't want to go from dictator to jell bird. The only way Iraq can possibly win is if someone else helps them out at the last minute taking the US off guard forcing them to pull out....

I just saw the Sum of all Fears, not the best to watch. :D

Anyway, they're still saying that medical attention has urgently been called for Saddam, so, here's hoping he's down. The quicker he's down, the quicker the war's over (well, in theory at the least)

Civilian casualties will be very minimal. In the first gulf war many civilians were killed but 10% of the bombs were smart bombs, 90% dumb. This time its 100% smart bombs, i predict that 1/10th of the civilian casualties of the first gulf war. Saddam already used scuds. There is no need for proof. 40+ countries are for the war and 14/25 members of the european union. Thats strong support. War isnt good, and i assure you, the united states is doing everything it can to prevent civilian deaths. We have dropped flyers to the iraqis explaining how to surrender and most of them are (an entire division and theyve penetrated 100 miles with close to no resistance = mass surrender) The troops are prepared for bio/chemical attacks and the war is running smoothly. Only a small portion of baghdad was bombed, these are government/military buildings. Its been reported that a building could be bombed and ones around would stand unscratched. There is no threat of killing civilians as long as they stay away from government buildings. WE wont be bombing power stations but rather disabling them with microwave bombs.

Also its great to see on the news that the iraqis in southern iraq are getting along with the troops and seem to be happy. Really there is no reason left to be against the war.

The only way civilians in iraq and jordan could be injured in large numbers that are significant is if the iraqis fire scuds at israel, israel will not hold back this time... and they WILL kill civilians.

We still have to beat off a few iraqis if saddam is dead, but thats just to stop an insurrection for power. In any case, if saddam dies soon then the war will be over and the occupation much easier.

Yeh, we are doing good on now killing civillizions. Man, we are allowing the Iraqui soliders to roam free if they agree to quit. Wae don't hold them or anything, sign that they left, and they can do whatever. Bush doesn't want war. COUNTLESS TIMES, he gave Saddam chances to avoid war. He kept declining. I'm getting sick of all these damn protesters. We'll have to go to war with iraq sometime. Why not now before they start making nukes?

BTW, First day of the war, Iraq shoots missles they told UN Inspectors they did not have.

Neo, so far there has only been smart bombs, we will bomb troops etc with dumb bombs, but the boming of baghdad will be 100% smart bombs.

Yep, iraq fired scuds that they supposedly didnt have.... doesnt that make the french feel dumb now? (even though they knew anyway)

Really though. This doesn't call for a full scale war! All we really need is a quick, discreet insertion of some elite special forces (maybe 6-10 guys) and they can knock him out in a matter of 10 minutes! Serioulsy, we've got some really great counterterrorist operatives. That could probably be done... or maybe I've been playing Rainbow Six: Raven Shield for WAY too long... ugh... visions of MP5SD5s dancing in my head!

MY BRAIN! NEHH! TANGO DOWN! BRAVO, GO GO GO GO! ESCORTING PRECIOUS CARGO! MAN DOWN! MAN DOWN! THREAT NEUTRALIZED!

Must... get... Rainbow Six... out of my mind! Help!

TANGO DOWN!

The problem with the special forces thing is that saddam has 15,000 body gaurds! its rediculous. Well we will get him anyway, the war wont even be that destating. Its going very very well from the civilian thinking of it and the iraqi people are happy, the troops are happy, and the majority of the world is happy. All and all, this is a good war.
