first of all check out Morrowind.com, theres a forum too.

I love Morrowind, but it has such high requirements.

I can't play it on my computer yet, so it sits at my friends house.

Well first of all don't kill people. Later on you'll regret it cuz alot of people have unique rolls in the game.

And make sure to read the instruction book. If your really want good advice ask on the morrowind forums.

Okay, first things first, after doing some quests in Seyda Neen, the first town you are in, take the package to Cassius in Balmora. Then, when in Balmora, look around, talk to people, learn things.....then join a guild. Base your decision on what kind of class you are. Then practice skills, level up, that is among the most important things at the beginning.

(Security and Sneak skill will prove to be extremely valuable to you later on, i currently have over 500,000 gold because of my sneaky thievery skills)

Yeah, I love Morrowind.

If you want to get lots of money early on, try alchemy. There's a neat alchemist shop in Balmora wich has 3000 gold. Buy some basic alchemy stuff, and lots of ingredients, and make loads of potions. You won't get that much profit at first, but you'll get much better in Alchemy soon, and will get loads of money on selling your potions.

Oh, and if you can kill an ordinator, their armor is extremely valuable. But they're hard to kill though.

Yeah, I have an Archer :D! I wanted to kill an ordinator, and get his stuff....but dang he was hard to kill! Then when he was killed, I eraned alot of money from selling his stuff.

Very good buisness[sp?]....

Just started Morrowind last week... Sweet as, but HUGE!!!!

How did you choose how to choose a class? Questions, pick or make?

(Ps - Is it just me, or is Marksman a tough skill to boost. Im a combat specialitist with it as a major skill, but It cannot seem to it a god damn thing!)

Yeah, its pretty hard to boost since you have to hit your target to get some exp. Also you only get like 3 exp per hit. My advice is to get a Crossbow, and use that instead of the long bow...!

I would, but being a typically cheap bastard as I always am in these games, I did not buy any of the weapons I use.

A short bow I nicked from the Balmorra West Guard Tower along with a Steel longsword and my frostsword.

My longbow I nicked of some guy wh wanted me to c;lead him to some religious festival. I needed the money, but was not sure where to go, so killed him and took it... :)

A tips for the game: If you are good in enchanting, and have a good gem (get Azura's gem from Azura's quest! You can use it as many times as you like, and it's also the strongest gem!) then enchant something that you wear with bound weapon constant effect. We here talk about a free, weightless Daedric weapon wich doesn't need to be repaired!!

Or you can just pay to have it enchanted at any random enchanter person, as they will never fail. My personal favorite is my robe that lets me fly whenever i wear it!! :D

I also have enough things enchanted with permanent effect chameleon that i'm 40% chameleon at any given time, allowing me to thieve things much more easily, and i have an amulet that i got off of some woman which gives me 60 seconds of 80% chameleon, so i can be 100% invisible for 60 seconds, allowing me to steal ANYTHING!!! ;)

Another thing that can be done is to get a lot of articles of clothing that have permanent effect sanctuary, if you get the cumulative effect to near 100% then you'll be almost impossible to hit with physical attacks...:D

Oh, and another tip: Alchemy is way underestimated. I'm lvl 89 Alchemy now (on my newest charachter, lvl 15 imperial) and I can make some pretty leet potions. Potions are much better to heal in combat with than magic, and they are great for all kinds of curing, and also different types of Alteration such as levitating, water walking and water breathing.
