try finding on the internet for serials numbers for the win zip.

 

Sorry, we don't condone the posting of illegal serial numbers or "crack" for commercial programs on these forums.

 

Besides, you can use Winzip for free as long as you want, you just have to put up with the occasional "nag screen."

To unzip a pk3 file, simply right click (while holding shift) on the file and "open with" then point it to your favorite de-archiving program (such as winzip).

 

You can also rename it to a zip extension then open it, make your changes, then close and rename back to pk3, if you want.

 

It seems a lot of people installed JK2 and forgot the location, but here is how to find your "base" folder:

 

Do a search (in windows, START, then "Find" and "Find Files or Folders" then search for:

 

"assets1.pk3" or "assets0.pk3" (without quotes)

 

The folder you will find them in will be base. The rest should be self explanatory.
