But its time to get organized. forget all skill you are aiming for.. you'll get them dont worry. Here is a list what the PA needs: A master Arachitect for a PA hall Money for furniture and other buildings Recourse harvesters. We have several Artisians... i want them posting their in game name here NOW!. give all the info. what skill level you are on, coordinates, planet, city, favorite pet. The whole kittenkaboodle. Marskmans, brawlers, medics and all fighting professions. listenand listen good. from now we are going organized hunting. we will devide all people into groups with group leaders. We will not just GO hunting.. we are going MISSION hunting.... Every member in the group will go to mission terminal and pick a destroy mission. DONT TAKE ANY MISSION THAT GIVES YOU BELOW 1200 CREDITS! use the refresh button more then once. You will all get a cut as a group... you will stay IN a group and NOT leave it. dont worry about extra skill points.. the game is gonna last for ever.... take it easy.. the only thing i want is our PA up as soon as possible. ONce all missions are done.. you will give all your group made credits to the leader who will tip it to me ... (because our bank manager isnt in game yet) .... i will distribute money to those who need it. Also... NEVER buy skills of trainers unless you have NO other choice. ask a PA member first..... look a skill costs at least a 1000 credits.,... travelling to anbother planet costs you 700... wich one is cheaper.... if you need a level 4 skill it wil cost you i think 4000.... well i would travel to dantooine if a member of our PA had that skill..... its MUCH cheaper. If you cant make it to group hunts and DO want to help out with money wise.... and you dont like fighting. Do deliver missions of the mission terminal..... press refresh untill you get at least a 750 credit mission.. i always go for the 800.... they are there. Now i know im breaking a fundamental rule of our PA... that you could do what you like.... but i think this is VERY important.... also group hunts will be on the planet with the most people on.... so just travel to that planet... i will fund you 700 credits if you dont have it on hand... ok? These are the set rules for the PA right now.. A suggestion: You should probably set up courier routes for those individuals doing the delivery missions... I know they're cute, and lovely, and you will feel miserable after your first time. I've taken 2 gnort killing missions though; one payed 1901, the other payed 2020. We could pilage enough resources to set us a start... ...and with some cover (read: a weapon specialist) we could exploit the Siliclastic Ore (It gets dangerous out there:D)... Even though my ending profession will be Bounty Hunter, I'm investing in Engineering for the time being. Very soon, like a few hours from now, I'll be able to make harvesters. I'll unload the deeds needed as well as some spare stuff (tools, weapons and powerups and junk) I have been saving as well (I just hate to destroy anything)... Oh yeah... AND LOTS OF FIREWORKS... I'll also drop some credit to keep the ball rolling... Just try to get some back to me so I can keep local harvesters going... I suggested that we have set dates from calendars, that could be posted every month, or e-mailed every month. The calendars would have groups, times, members, ect. But I have to tell ya, I'm not crazy about the mandatory grouping missions. I can make about 10k an hour wrecking squall nests by myself. I don't see how doing it in a group would improve the efficiency of it. Hey I'm all for the PA, and working as a team, but also I find when I'm working with others I don't get as much money and scouting Xp as when I'm solo. So I'll just keep doing what I'm doing for now. I'm available to help anyone, anytime, with just about anything. But hey, if I'm not needed for anything urgent, like a PA war, or training another member, or group meeting in our town. Wraith is the only one so far that has grouped with me, and allowed me to get all the XP for harvesting, while he is getting XP for shooting, and I just give him hide a bones. That is why I solo. I need XP, yet it might come at a slow pace, it comes faster than a large group. I am happy right now, hunting Crazed Durni's by the =A= headquaters. Kiting that is... Group B. Group C. Group D. We can have groups of ten, with leaders, and the members. We can have groups combine, to make large groups, on certain days, and times. Now, if you can make a better calendar, which I know you can, then do it. This will be a good way to have set scheduals, so people know when people are going to group. We can post every month, the calendar. You do not have to follow the calendar, but it will give a rough estimate when people will be grouping. Murashu Posted July 3, 2003 Share Posted July 3, 2003 I appreciate your desire to get the PA up and running but I disagree with the mandatory grouping thing and giving all my earnings away so you can spend them. I have busted my ass making master medic and hopefully combat medic tonight just so I can work tirelessy to support someone who has not put forth my effort. You said it yourself in your post that this game will be around for years. Making the game unfun for everyone after 1 week so you can fulfill a personal goal is making this a short term deal. If it takes us 2 months to get a PA hall up, who cares? We are not an organized PA that has been playing MMORPG's for years like the guys who got a PA hall already. Most of these guys are new to online games in general especially MMO's. I think we need to start with the grouping basics and not place requirements until more people learn how to play the game. I have lead 60-70 person raids in EQ and I have to say those were more fun and organized than our 16 person group the other night. Once people learn the game and how to play thier character we can start really focusing on the team work but its not going to happen over night. I have been in mandatory raiding/grouping guilds before and I dont think this group of people will be happy in those conditions. Jackrabbit Posted July 4, 2003 Share Posted July 4, 2003 I thought it was a good idea Ride. If you're on Corellia, don't take a job under 1700. And make sure it's a durni nest. Those little rabbits are so slow, you can just run around shooting the nest and they'll never hit you. On Naboo, don't take a mission under 1800, and make sure it's gnorts. They're easy, and usually pay big. I made 7k in 30 min (I feel cool, because I had lost 6k the day before). Oh, and if you're a Marksman, unequip your weapon when you take a mission.
