  1. There used to be a site run by a guy who made extractors and the like for many different games.

Unfortunately I can't remember the address.

There was a grim fandango model viewer there, but i'm not sure if it would help you. The models were usually in pieces rather than complete.

I'll try to remember the name of the site (I can still remember the design) and get back to you.

  2. Hey guys, been a while. Not sure how many people remember me, but anyway...

I've been overseas travelling, yet again, and have just got back home.

oh, guess what i also found: http://www.geocities.com/laadventures/Grim/

My old GF site, I'm surprised that geocities still has it up after 4 years of neglect. Ah the memories... it was a very ambitious project i had - check out rubacava in the land of the dead section, for an idea.

thought i'd pop in and say hi. I've added a reply the the webmasters part as well, if you can answer the question in it, I'll send across what I've got for you.

  3. Hey Guys,

Well, I posted a news post a while ago, mentioning that I was coming back to Australia, and would work on the site then.

    Well, I'm back.

I do have a lot of new content, I've hopefully still got it all, since a lot of it was given to me well over a year ago, before the mojo issues. Unfortunately, It's very scattered at the moment. I'll try to make some sense of it and then put it up. It doesn't help that I am in a new city, with a new computer etc.

Oh, and I'll finally fix up the site so that it work properly, and is complete.

As for the fan film, I haven't heard anything from them for a while, I've no idea if it is still progressing, though I have my doubts...

  4. Yeah, I understand where you are coming from.

The Dig isn't my favourite LucasArts adventure. However, I think it is still a game worthy of any adventure collection, and it is different from most of the adventure games LucasArts make.

The main reason I liked The Dig was the atmosphere, created by both the music and fantastic artwork.

  5. Yes I was, in fact I believe I still have a copy of the old YABB forums, the ones the gfn ran on before moving to lucasforums. I should check when my last copy of them was made, if they have anything of interest for anyone.

IRC hey..., I remember how long it took xGrimx and Met to get me onto it in the first place... :)

  6. Well, I have asked to get dig.mixnmojo.com hosted again. However, I appreciate that mixnmojo are having their own difficulties at the moment. As soon as it is possible myself and Schmatz will get this site up and going again.

It would be a shame to lose the largest site devoted to this game.

Oh, and I wonder how the fan-film is coming, seeing as dig.mixnmojo.com isn't up to allow the updating of the project's progress.

  7. Anyway, I don't know how many of you will remember me. I've been absent for the most part of two years, with the exception of the occasional talk with Metallus about designs and futures, and have had pretty much squat to do with GFN.

Although nothing too much has changed since I was last around - mixnmojo still being down (how many times is this?).

Just a post to let everyone know (if anyone cares) that I'm back online and home etc.
