  1. Hello, First of all, I play this game maniacally. I always put the same amount of troops on and over each planet and make sure to have full amount of money before starting a key mission. Every time a new tech level-up is unlocked. I give all map centered planets back to the enemy forces to level up peripheral planets thanks to enemy forces attacks. Sometimes it takes time and skills to wait for the enemy to mass enough troops, and forces them to attack a specific planet. At the same time, i am sending an army on the attacked planet while the enemy forces are on the way. Some kind of "Planetary Bait-Trap". Doing so, Most of the time, I reach 1500 galactic days before starting the "Jabiiim Mission"! But le'ts go back to my bug. I have Empire At War Gold Pack and I have a weird problem. On the game Star Wars Empire At War, either I play the Empire or the Rebellion, Campaign Mode, I have some kind of lag or freezing on the Galactic map after a while of playing. The lag happens on the Galactic map, Campaign Mode only. I don't have any lags on land or space battles during campaign, skirmish mode, conquest mode, etc... I have the game patched on Version 1.05. The lag doesn't start at the beginning of the game. It starts after a few hundred galactic days. Sometimes, it vanishes by itself after doing a specific mission (for instance "capture "Mon Calamari"), then it restarts later at a different time. The strength of lags/freezing is variable. Once, I also had a bug on a Kuat Space Battle, Empire side being attacked by rebellion. Enemy forces were stuck at the top of the map, not even willing to attack my bases, and after a while freely kicking their ships one by one, I couldn't select my own space ships neither on the Kuat map, nor on the Galactic map after the battle ended miraculously... I know this game is old and it would be a miracle to see another patch, however, does anyone have an idea how to stop these galactic lags? It ruins the fun of building and preparing planets. I have a 2014 laptop with this spec, powerful enough to run this game on full settings without a problem: NVIDIA GT740M 4go RAM i5 4200U 2.30GHz Thanks in advance.
  2. My biggest dream for this series is to see The Force Unleashed (III): A New Hope! It could have an intro level to kill off the StarKiller (for real this time) which leads into Vader chasing Leia's ship over Tatooine. It could be through Starkiller and his use of the force that Leia is told about Obi Wan being alive and on Tatooine which prompts her to leave and go to the planet to seek out his help. I really think these games based on the three original films (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi) are LONG overdue. I think they could focus on the side stories left to our imaginations as well as the main stories we already know, tying them together with the old and "new", i.e.: Luke bullseyeing womp rats in his T-16 in Begger's Canyon Han rescues Chewie Han and Chewie dump their cargo and piss off Jabba. The Kessel run! Yoda's arrival on Dagobah and HIS experience with the cave The rebels fleeing Yavin and moving to Hoth The rebel fleet fleeing Hoth Vader and Fett's arrival on Yavin and meeting with Lando A bounty hunter side story explaining what happened to them after leaving Vader's star destroyer Wookie revolt, since they are the slave workers of the Empire Ewoks dealing with the arrival of the Empire on their forest moon I can go on and on with this! Each mission is different and you play multiple characters throughout all the games, including Wicked (Ewok), Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Yoda, Lando, Vader, Admiral Ackbar (leading the fleet) and so on! The possibilities are virtually endless. Why do the powers that be not see the potential there? This could be bigger than Tomb Raider was! Anyone else here have any thoughts on this?
  3. Hey there Star Wars fans, Just wanted to share a new fan made video series with you. In the build up to the launch of Bioware's Star Wars MMO, we've begun a companion series to their official time-line videos and created the Sith Archives. We've already released the first three videos and have an entire series planned. Check out the first entry in the Sith Archives by clicking the following link: Rise of the Silent Council: Details: This is the first video in a series of timeline entries from the Sith Archives on Korriban. A holorecord in the Sith Archive provides the first evidence of a new threat facing the galaxy as Darth Panopticus and the Silent Council emerge from two millennia of hibernation to unleash their rage and destructive force upon the known Galaxy. While both the Republic and Empire are building up for the coming war... in the shadows beyond the Outer Rim, an ancient Sith menace has been plotting the downfall of all who would dare to stand in their way. The darkness is coming and there is nothing you can do to stop it. "Time is a lie, there is only patience. Through patience, I gain perspective. Through perspective, I gain knowledge. Through knowledge, I gain control. Through control, their chains are forged. The Force shall enslave them." - excerpt from the Holocron of Darth Panopticus ------------------------------------- Archive #2 The Great Hyperspace War Check it out the second video by clicking the following link: Details: The Great Hyperspace War was a war fought between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire in BTC 1347. The conflict encompassed the entire Galactic Republic, though the main forces focused their attention on three Republic worlds, and later took the war to the remote star system Primus Goluud, and the Sith mausoleum world of Korriban. After it overcame the initial shock of the Sith invasion, the Republic's armadas regrouped and annihilated the Sith Empire, forcing the Sith Lord Naga Sadow to exile himself to Yavin 4. In this record from the Sith Archive, Darth Panopticus retells the events of the Hyperspace war from a Sith perspective. ------------------------------------- Archive #3 Resurrection Holocrons Check it out the third video by clicking the following link Details: BTC 440- The Sith scientist Darth Foucaultus explains the panoptic philosophy of power that operates as a core principle in the construction of Resurrection Holocrons. The holocron was able to capture the appearance and cognitive networks of the holocron's owner, and transform this into a three-dimensional hologram. This gatekeeper acted as a guide through the holocron's store of information, as a search and recovery engine with a more personal touch. These gatekeepers could relate stories from the holocron's archives to events in the life of the one who activated the holocron.
  4. |█▄▄█▬▬BLACK EMPIRE▬▬█▄▄█| \www.blackempire.net/ is currently seeking new members to join it's ranks Apply Here! The Black Empire has four Major Units(The Temple, The Army of the Black Empire (TABE), the Academy, and the Office of the Emperor. The Office of the Emperor The Emperor is the sovereign ruler of the Black Empire. He exercises command over all aspects within the Empire military and non-military. It is quite common for him to rule through a “Hand of the Emperor” to avoid a public image. In times of struggles the Emperor maintains a very demanding and direct leadership role in which he is personally involved in the decisions of the Empire, rather then just receiving reports from his Hand. Little is known of Galaksi, the current Emperor. Reports of his dealings are rare and sightings even rarer. He appears to enjoy command through a small group of trusted advisers. He is the final approving authority on major guild changes and must sign off on Senior promotions. Staff: Hand of the Emperor acts as the Emperor's right hand man providing enforcement of the Emperors demands, orders and wishes. The Hand commands the Office of the Emperor while maintaining a Senior role providing instruction and guidance from the Emperor The Master/Captain of the Guard leads the elite guard of the Emperor. Responsible for the protection of the Emperor at all times. The Black Empire Archivist is responsible for maintaing guild records, information, publishing relevant info, securing secure intel. The Black Empire Arbiter is responsible for investigating claims of unfairness by Black Empire members, providing arbitration between personnel and when compromises can't be reached advises Higher Command. The Temple The Temple of the Black Empire is home to all Sith in TBE. The Temple is commanded by a Sith Lord who acts as the adminstrator and leader of the Temple. He is the Senior member of the Temple and is expected to maintain rule, discipline and a proper organization. He is a close personal adviser to the Emperor and is held responsible for his entire Temple. Sith new to the Temple of the Black Empire will be accepted as to the rank of Apprentice once a Sith Master has acecepted the Sith for Apprenticeship. Throughout the Apprentice's training he will be trained and later evaluated if he is worthy to become a Sith Knight. Sith Knight's are the proven and dedicated Sith of the Black Empire Temple. While holding no responsibillity to train or lead they are the Temples primary power and responsible for the sucess of the Black Empire's war against the Jedi. Sith Masters are the trainers and Senior members of the Temple. Sith Masters are known for their unequaled power and control over the force. A Sith Master is given with all proper respects that the rank requires. The Army of the Black Empire The Army of the Black Empire was designed off the common militaristic theme. The Army is commanded by a General who is responsible for maintaing rule, proper organization, and discipline. He is a close personal adviser to the Emperor and is held responsible for his entire Army. A Sergeant of the Black Empire Army is a fearless, tough and demanding Squad Leader. He holds vast influence over several Soldiers. Much like the Sith Master he sponsors recruits from the Academy and supervises their training to determine if they are worthy of serving as a Soldier in TABE. The rank of Captain is given to a distinguished Senior Member of the TBEA. He is responsible for maintaining supervision over several Sergeants and is held responsible when mistakes are made. He is an Officer of the Black Empire Army and is given all respects that the rank requires. The Academy The Academy of the Black Empire is commanded by the Academy Commander. The Academy Commander is assisted by a representative from the Temple of the Black Empire and the Army of the Black Empire. The Sith Knight/Sergeant will evaluate each Recruits potential pertaining to the Knights/Sergeants home unit and will provide reports on each Recruit. All Recruits will go through the two week probation where their maturity, discipline and intelligence will be observed. They will be evaluated to see whether they can be use to the Temple or TBEA. Recruits will remain in the Temple until sponsored by a Sith Master of TABE Sergeant. The Black Empire The Black Empire looks to recruit mature, dedicated and loyal members who are looking for a community that will be around for years. The purpose of the Black Empire is to develop a friendly community that will last through SWToR and any future games that are released. For ToR we will focus on RP/PvP and frequently have RP events on our forums. Any additional information you may need can be given on our website or on our forums -Sith Acolyte Chewsurra
