Hi, guys. I'm trying to advance the Sand People quest (light side) and cannot manage to survive the fight at the sand crawler. Does anyone have a winning strategy or any recommendations (level, party members, etc.)?

So I am on Tatooine currently, and have just killed off the Sand People at the Sand Crawler. Instead of looting the bodies and getting the robes I needed, I figured I should talk to the captain then get them. Well, they disappeared. And when I went to load the game again so I could get them, I accidentally went to SAVE (like a dolt) so it is now impossible to get the bodies and robes to reappear! Now I am stuck with no idea how to get the robes in order to get inside the base. Any help would be greatly appreciated
