  1. Hello everybody, I'd like to share my video playthrough project with you. As far as I know, it's the first Full-HD (1920x1080) resolution English walkthrough for XWA using the wonderful XWA Upgrade Project mod. I am about to finish it, so most of the missions are already uploaded. I'll be so happy to have a discussion, whether it will be about the tactics, the missions or the modpack and how beautiful it is. , the first video shows my joystick and keyboard setup, I think it can be useful for beginners, if there are any left around here hehe... I'll be posting here whenever I release a new video. Fly fast and shoot straight! 2. Hi, i just installed xwa on windows 7 64bit with the 2.02 patch usingMarkus Egger's MCI Version..I have an ATI Radeon 4850 HD Video Card. The graphics when set to 3d look horrible. Font problems and some black squares appearing constantly making it impossible to play. I installed a dual boot windows xp 32bit, and exactly the same problems appear, on the normal version as well. A friend recommended i should try VMware Emulator and set it for windows 98. Any hopes this might help? I'm pretty skeptic considering it did not work on XP 32bit. I've been playing the thing in software only mode, but i'd really love to get to play it 3d, the few parts i can see of it make it an awesome game. Thanks.

  4. I have done everything possible to get it to work. Even after using markusegger's MSI. It says "Over here" Please reinstall XWA from Original disc" Dose anyone know what to do. XWA Upgrade forums have nothing and say to use that MSI. So if any one reads this and knows how to help. Please Reply.
  5. Note: I decided to re-post this thread when I read a note from the forum administrator; which said that all recent posts and threads were lost in a database crash. If you already commented on the original version of this thread, then it might be best if you just tried to retype what you said before so we can pick up where we left off I'm gonna start by saying that I'm a total newbie to these forums. My friends and I recently found enough time to start playing XWA again, and now we're totally hooked on it! We've been playing XWA together on GameRanger for a little while now, and we wanna know if it's still possible to boost our pilot ratings. I've done as much research on this as I could. I read the readme file about the XWA scoring system, and I know that you need to shoot down human players in order to get past Top Ace 4th Order (which is where I'm stuck right now). So far, it seems like the my rating progress doesn't get any higher than 54%, regardless of how many human kills I get on GameRanger. I also tried to get on the Errant Venture server, but I downloaded it and it doesn't work when I try to start it. So basically, can someone tell me if you could only boost your rating on the original XWA multiplayer server, if Errant Venture is down for good, and if anyone's "To Next Rating" percentage has ever been glitched and permanently fixed at 54% or some other number? Any help would be greatly appreciated
