yolkboy Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Yes, PC players can play Mac players. I know when playing a LAN game, the server can be visible after the game loads up. For internet use, I don't think it would take that long. Can't answer that question with certainty. Happy Fragging!
dgb Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 Thanks. i only had a problem when my mac friend (in a different city) and i were looking at 2 different lists of servers available when we would both select the option of looking at all available ones. Make sense? Also, it isn't very intuitive as to how you can join a server by typing in its IP address...any thoughts? Thanks again
yolkboy Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Yeah, I haven't had the best of luck with the ip search. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I usually make a server then bring down the console and type "connect <ip>" with out quotes and the ip address going where the <ip> is.
