Help: Game runs and looks fine, but frequently crashes.

I'm trying to play the Jedi Academy demo on my laptop(I know, I know), and when the game actually works it works perfectly. Framerates are decent with all the details up and the game looks beautiful. Unfortunately I was almost done with the first mission when the game locked up. I had to control-alt-delete. I was able to beat that mission but in the chandrilan one the freezing is so frequent the game is unplayable. Here are my specs:

Windows XP

Pentium 4 2.66 GHZ with 446mb Ram

Radeon IGP 345M vid card(64MB)

Directx is up to date.

There are no driver updates.

I tried reinstalling the drivers as well as JA

I changed colors to 16bit.

I turned off dynamic lighting.

I turned off the force feedback option.

I chose the fastest option with all the settings minimized and nothing worked.

I still get the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas or advice? And yes, get a real computer has already occured to me.

Problem solved!!!! It seems that the problem is either dynamic lighting or more probably dynamic glow(or maybe both). I have both turned off and the problem disappeared.
