Key to the japanese boat

I have som trouble finding the key to the Japanese boat. I found the hammer.

Now that you've found the hammer, you'll need to move through the corridors and be looking for the shaft going up. Better save game in several stages here. Go up the shaft and at the top is a grate...use the hammer to break the lock. The grate will open, allowing you to go on deck for air. Save game because it'll take a few tries to find the key. At the bottom of the shaft turn right, then take the next right and you'll see a hatch. Go down through the hatch and look for a crate on the floor. Watch for the barracudas that guard it. Get the key from the crate and go back to the shaft and up and climb on deck. Now use the ley on the bridge door. The deck grate is the only way you can get through to the key because you'll always run out of air before getting the key unless you use the deck grate exit to replinish. Good luck.
