I have my monitor's brightness maxed out, but I have to use the lighter option everywhere or I'm blind most of the time - even outside sometimes. I'm all for shadowing and realism, but I'd also like to be able to see enough to play. Is it just the way the game is, or do I need a new monitor? Guest Hawke Posted January 28, 2000 Share Posted January 28, 2000 Does not soud good at all. The game has few points where the lighter is absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, there is no gamma correction console within the game. The only thing left is to tweek the video card, if it has that feature. I had to fuddle with my Viper 770 with Thief, but it was minor as the game is designed to operate in a dark environment. Wish I could offer more advice.
