If you get the game early (before Sept 17) Read this:

For all those who claim to get the game early who are not members of the press or a Raven/LA employee, I'm going to have to ask you to furnish PROOF that you do have the game legally.

 

Here is what I need from you:

 

1) A picture of the game that is not easily faked. You can provide this via a scan of the game box & cd, a webcam or digitial camera pic of you holding the box/cd, etc.

 

2) Take the "proof" picture and send it to me directly at kurgan@qwest.net. I check my email every day and can recieve large attachments.

 

Please do this as soon after you get the game as possible. If you don't have a scanner, you can visit a copy store (like Kinkos, Copyworks, or the equivalent in your area) and get this service done. We will accept your proof and allow you to continue to claim you have the game early. Please respond when you get this.

 

 

It will be our call whether or not to believe your claim.

 

If you Can't furnish such proof, we're going to have to ask you to refrain from talking about getting the game early, since it's confusing with all the warez/leaked beta fakers out there.

 

Remember that getting the game early is NOT an excuse to post spoilers not revealed on the official site.

 

We will continue to treat such spoilers as warez trolling until the game is actually available in stores.

Well, the official in-stores release date has arrived, so I'm unstickifying this.

 

 

Warez/leaked beta posts will not be tolerated, but we will no longer be demanding proof from people since anyone should be able to buy it in stores and pre-orders have been recieved by now.

 

 

Remember to use the spoiler tag, because many people will not be able to beat all 15 hours of gameplay in one sitting and don't want to have the storyline ruined for them.

 

 

The US (and parts of Canada) may have the game today, but the rest of the world won't get it until the 19th. So respect others...
