Level 9 and the Mirror

I have the mirror to reflect the sunlight, the statue will NOT take it off me no matter what I do.

 

Any help please ???

Try standing on the block in front of the statue and face the statue and then JUMP into the sunlight so you are INSIDE the shaft of light. Once you are inside there, you should be able to use the mirror.
